Teachers seem great, but it doesn't matter since navigating their system of customer service (or lack thereof) will drive you to quit anyway. I should say that the customer service is great before you become a student. Beyond that, forgot about getting any actual real help. I am a year in now and somehow my graduation date keeps getting further away, my financial aid is a mess and there is a hold on my account preventing me from getting my transcripts even though all class have been paid for and I have $10K in new debt to prove it. Good times!
I finished my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I loved my experience here at Brandman University and would recommend it to anyone thinking of returning to school and has a busy life. Who doesn't now a days. Instructors were not only great but highly knowledgeable in their field. I just conferred my degree and will receive my diploma soon. I will treat myself and my family by walking this 2016 Commencement Ceremony. Looking forward to it and moving on to a Master's. Thanks a lot Brandman University and all the staff that helped me on my educational journey.
I just graduated Brandman University with a BA Degree in Organizational Leadership. I will say this was not easy. You need to apply yourself in this discipline...if you are looking for an overnight degree...keep looking...Brandman University will not be your University. If you dedicate the time and focus you can make it happen. I will continue to look with Brandman University when I start my Masters. I hope Sandra Handel, Academic Advisor at Travis AFB is available to help me continue this Journey when I do.
Best decision I ever made. I obtained my MA in psychology while I worked full-time. As an older student, (48 when I started and 51 when I finished), I really liked the "in class" part of the program as I made connections with others as well as getting to know the professors. It was convenient and fit into my schedule. I didn't have any problems and found the staff very helpful. I did have a bit of a lag in getting my degree conferred as they weren't in as much of a hurry as I was. However that was the only issue
Earned my MBA in Organizational Leadership and MS in Human Resources in under 3yrs while working full time under DOJ BOP. There are a lot of Bad schools out there..Brandman is not one of them...I know..I have been to alot, thankfully I was just there to collect my leftover GI bill. Brandman in my exp had very knowledgeable and professional instructors. Professional and business networks were easilly made. The schedule worked for me. Customer service could be better from where I was at. My complaint would be more on student acceptance...There were people I had to do group wrk that make it more challenging to excell. Students that were not ready for college...lacking in the basics of research,report writing, accntng.
The ceremony was incredibly organized and beautiful. I felt such peace and contentment throughout the commencement. Brandman University has taught me to be a better person, teacher and friend.
I'm a veteran about to finish my Bachelors in Psychology, and overall, it's been a great experience. I will continue with Brandman for my Masters in MFT. As with anything, there will be errors and bumps along the way, but the staff at the Menifee campus was punctual to correct any issues. And from what I understand, their number of students they handle is growing greatly. So kudos on them for being able to be consistent. Using the Post 9/11 fit well with the financial budget, where all costs for me were covered for the 36 months (earning 100% benefits). It's a good balance of campus and online work, and I really feel like I've learned a lot so far. The teachers are flexible, and understand the demands of life. The vast majority seem very qualified to teach the subjects they do. Best of all, I love that everything we learn is applied to real world instances. There's no wondering "when will I ever need to know this?"
Brandman University provides an excellent, dynamic, and relevant education to students seeking and advancing a career Criminal Justice. The University focuses on bringing professional faculty experience (i.e., from law enforcement, probation, and correction practitioners) into the classroom. Due to their connection to Chapman University, Brandman students also have access to the Leatherby Libraries and the Chapman athletic community. Go Panthers!
I love Brandman. I went from zero to a BS in criminal justice in 2 years flat. In the fall I'll be starting my master's program and finish it within a year as well. If you put in the work, they'll make sure you exceed. All of my enrollment coaches have been awesome. Anytime I have questions about my schedule my academic advisor is always quick to respond. I look forward to walking across the stage for my master's program. Thank you guys so much for all you do.
If you want to waste your time and money to have this campus still not give you your degree, this school is for you! Don't forget they may overcharge you for classes, give incorrect education plans and send you to collections for their mistakes. Please don't make the mistake I did of attending this hack of a "University", especially if you are going to the Santa Clarita Campus.
