Attorney Arthur L. Schecter founded our Houston law firm, Schecter, McElwee, Shaffer & Harris, L.L.P., more than 30 years ago. In 1987, attorney Dennis M. McElwee joined the firm immediately after law school. Today, they, partners Matthew D. Shaffer and Jonathan S. Harris, and associate attorneys Adam J. Rosenfeld, Cynthia Huerta and Laura De La Cruz continue to strive toward Mr. Schecter's original goal, which was to protect the rights of injured victims and their families.
