Mr. Shelton obtained his Juris Doctorate from the South Texas College of Law and was admitted to practice in Texas in 1974. He is also licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.
