Having spent many years working in advertising sales, Sally was inspired to start Pick & Mix Marketing after listening to clients’ frustrations at not being able to find the marketing support they wanted within the budget of a small business. She realised that what they needed was not an ‘off the shelf’ approach as offered by so many other marketing agencies, but instead, a company that would listen to their business objectives and devise ways to help them reach new audiences using marketing activities that were within their means and price range. In short, a ‘pick and mix’ approach! The idea proved so popular that the business really took off and enabled Sally to move into a new office in York and employ a team of marketing experts.
