Just what NYC needs, a cool wine spot with magnum pours at 9 and a great lunch deal. Great "small" plates menu and decor. Of course the staff are knowledgeable, but they're also fun and approachable. Can't wait to go back again!

Featured in a German Newspaper we thought to visit this spot. Wine menu is well curated although tending to be on the upper scale. Service is definitely not well trained and wasn’t able to recommend us the appropriate wine. What really stroke us was the quality of the dishes - far below mediocre, tasteless, and - sorry to say, but given the price tag it is almost an insult compared to high standards next door. Sorry Aldo, but you can do much more better.

I'd give it a 4.5. The wine was excellent. Wish they had a bit more space and/or food. But really great place for the area.

*Fabulous* selection, nightly special big bottle (9 pm), nice nibbles, chill and classy without being stuffy – perfect place for a drink. There’s a wine flight option, which cycles monthly. The space is like a mid-century lounge, or a stylish living room. The som is the head som of Le Bernadine (world-class restaurant) next door; the wine bar is much more approachable to drop in.

Expensive but quality wines. Wish there was more variety in selection they had. Food (appetizers) were good. Truffle pasta was a bomb. Overall a nice place for a quick meeting over drinks.

By far the best food I had in NYC. So good I went twice in four days. I don't normally drink wine but I figured I was at the best spot in town for it so I went with the servers suggestions. Hit after hit. I've never had wine like what I had on those nights. The chef, Kris, amazing. That's all I can say. The food was so well prepared and presented, you could taste the passion.

Really great service and wonderful food. I enjoyed having small plates of their dishes to get a variety. Their house champagne was great. A perfect way to escape the heat and humidity. Worth a visit.
