Lot of shopping options available to shop. Eating is good in this place, have multiple options. Structured parking space makes your life easy. So can say…Eat, shop and enjoy….
Depends...amazing I’m sure to most but confusing as hell even after the 10000th time here. There is an app you can download that “helps”. But I feel like we are still Atlanta, so even going to LA’s sketchy Garment District last week that we get the scraps.
Make sure you have time on hand and clear your schedule beforehand so you can enjoy it. If you get lost they have apps or just ask someone.

I was a tourist in Atlanta and thought this giant mall might be a place to escape the heat and spend some money for myself or kids. There are four or more buildings and they are all connected via air bridges so it seems ideal. But after trying a few different buildings we realized this is not what it seems. There are no signs of whee to go- or what shops are inside. We asked about a food court and we we’re sent to a pretty dark and dreary space with just a few food spots. I think this “mall” is actually for wholesalers and not consumers. Is there any decent shopping in Atlanta?
The nation's largest wholesale facility is an awesome place for retailers to buy their inventory. From furniture to gift ware to fashion, the Mart draws in businesses from around the world. It is not open to the public and businesses must qualify for admittance.
Had a great time. I hope to be back. The security people were so helpful and friendly. Got lost a few times and they helped me find my way. Very nice people.
AmericasMart has gone above and beyond to provide helpful staff and maps to make navigating the large market as easy as possible! Restrooms and common areas were clean. A/C was set too low, making the building seem overly cold in the summer. Bring a sweater!
This is a very large building. The signage and app they have to get around is average at best. So allow extra time to find the places you are looking for at market. The security outside around the market is minimal especially in the evening. So we have had multiple occasions it did not feel safe. So travel in groups for safety. Food in the market is very high and the quality is marginal. So bring snacks with you. The restrooms are always clean and well kept.
I go to the annual Market in July...have for 20 years or more. I'm happy to see that in the present economy, many of the companies have reduced their minimum orders so that small retailers can afford to shop at the Mart. But getting another employee registered is real pain in the neck and involves a lot of unnecessary correspondence with Mart administration. I'm a small business in a small town...my employees do not have official business cards. Parking is not easy...I usually park in a lot two blocks away and walk the distance, but it's $20 to park for one day. Lastly, the food court in Bldg 1 is ridiculously small with very little choice for one of the largest wholesale markets in the country and the food from those vendors is extremely expensive. $10 for a scoop of chicken salad, chips, and a water? No matter though...attending the market is a must for most any kind of retail business. So many companies, vendors, and suppliers are there...you can find anything you need for your business...and if you don't, the sheer mass of it all is inspiring.
