In 1996, Lyudmila Sletkova, a professional tailor from St. Petersburg, Russia, decided to open her own tailoring shop. Her vision was to create a high-end shop on Boston’s most fashionable Newbury Street, where clients could bring their most valued and expensive clothing for the most complicated work. The shop’s name came naturally from the guarantee made to the clients – the Best Fit.

Brought some pants in to get hemmed and service was quick and cheap. Great location.

So friendly and was able to accommodate a last minute alteration! Also worked with me on the price. I really feel like they care about the customer and enjoy their work.

I’ve used them a couple times for easy stuff and it’s fine. But everytime I go in and ask for something simple they treat me like im putting them out and that they basically don’t want to do it. It’s not just a language barrier, I think they’re actually just rude. I have no idea how they were voted Boston’s Best. I’m going to look for a good tailor who actually is pleasant to deal with.

Best Fit Tailoring has always done me well when I need a Boston seamstress. Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly, convenient location as well. Thanks
