I had a wonderful experience at Bithia’s this past Friday. Bithia was responsive to all of my questions and accommodated my change of schedule. I got 18’ Senegalese twists. I arrived an hour earlier than my appointment. The ladies got to me as soon as I walked in. They were courteous, efficient, and exceptionally professional. They worked quickly and their work was high quality. I was in and out in the time that I was told during booking. The ladies made sure I was satisfied and comfortable. Within 15 minutes of leaving the salon I’d received several compliments. I have already referred three people. I hope you’ll go to them for your braiding needs.

Today I came to the location looking to get my hair braided because of the location is close to my apartment. So I walked in the place and it was very cold , quiet and empty number one. The two young ladies looked at me like I was some type of creature so I asked them did they have any open slots and they told me no and rolled their eyes. The young lady in the second station replied and said we do not braid men hair. I asked him why and what’s the difference and they told me there is no difference. Personally I have more here then females that were in there so I know it couldn’t be because of the length of my hair. This is very sexist and I do not recommend anyone to come here. If it’s a religious purpose this should stated on the website and politely tell people otherwise this is very sexist and I could care less about this hole in the wall!!

I subtracted a star because of pricing. I paid $200 for my braids. I could have got the length that I wanted for less on the south side. However, I love my braids. I waited a week to see if I would see breakage. I did not. My hair is still in tact. The ladies in the shop were friendly and professional. They completed the work quickly and my Senegalese twists look neat. All in all I would definitely recommend this place. The biggest deal to me was that they were ON TIME. I had an appointment and they started my hair right at the exact appointment time. Most braid shops fall short in that area.

All of the people were extremely nice, attentive, detailed oriented, and respectful. They all know their business/craft very well. The art is perfectly price and service was expedient. They were very clear over the phone and asked all the right questions to make sure you get a definite idea of your experience before getting off of the phone. Bithia hair braiding is the only place I go to get my hair braided. Bithia the owner is my favorite but all of the ladies are kind, tentative, caring, and sweet. They want to make sure you are happy before you leave the salon. I will never go to anyone else. I’ve been going here for almost 3 years now. Popped in for some quick under-wig cornrows! Quick work and a fair price. Ive tried a few other shops that overcharge or can't get the braids as flat as I'd like, so as far as Im concerned these ladies are my new go to!
