THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE BY EMPLOYEES! NOT STUDENTS, TRUST ME I HAVE HAD THE WORST COUPLE OF YEARS AT BROWARD COLLEGE! If you have an issue with ANYTHING they will NOT help you. PREPARE to do everything on your own because they will steer you in the wrong direction and make you take unnecessary classes One person says one thing the next person says another, NO ONE absolutely no one knows what they are doing. All they do is blame other departments, calling to receive help? Same thing all they do is transfer you a thousand and one times before saying they're not sure of what exactly they can do. I am so happy to be transferring out of this place! I have had multiple advisors tell me to take classes NOT because they are REQUIRED but because "its a good class" basically it makes the school more money ! This school does NOT care about their students or anything except money. & Customer Service is a joke?

It can be found on the upper floor of the library. There are only a few classrooms, but they are nice. The tables have plugs in them to charge your device. There are projectors available. It is often calm and a good amount of parking is available.

Advisement and financial aid office never know what they’re talking about. They each tell you something different. Science professors are the worst.

If I could give this school a 0 I would. First, the people that work in administration and advising are the worst! They don’t know how to speak to people and they’re filled with the most nastiest attitude. I went to a real university and I have never experienced all the craziness that I’ve experienced from BC. They act as if they’re a high rank university. Relax, you’re a community college. One would expect them to have people who are nice and male students feel welcome.

Why is D2L not working?I can't have this happen on a Sunday especially when I have work due at 11:30pm.The professor I have doesn't even respond to emails so I better not get a zero because the help desk doesn't do their job.

The teachers were good, but the online classes were incredibly micromanaged and simply tested short-term memory and the ability to write forum posts. Also, the faculty really didn't care about the students. I jumped through so many hoops (literally every step of the way-- except paying them) and I felt like I was doing the job my advisor was getting paid to do. They stonewalled me from talking to the people in the program I wanted to get in, and in the end wasted enough of my time that I was able to find a different school which I am now happily attending.

I don’t know what is the point of having an email acct when no one responds to you. I have been waiting almost a month for my response to the nursing program. Literally have emailed everyone. I have to go to in this week on my day off and probably wait all day to see someone. If you are now a “4 year college” where is he money going. Hire someone to answer emails. FAU responds in less than 3 days. I don’t understand it.

I have been an ongoing student at Broward college for many years. Let me say that getting registered is the equivalency of standing in a welfare line. The registration process needs work (to say the least)! There is always an issue. They send you to one office only for that office to send you back to the original office. They never give you all the information necessary in order to complete the process. Even when you know what you need to do, there's always some person who doesn't know what they're doing trying to tell you that you're doing it wrong. Last year, I literally told the woman that was helping me, " I'm leaving here now and I'm going to the other office that you're sending me to. Now, when I come back downstairs, I don't care who you have in your office. You're going to see me." Lets just say that 5 minutes later, I was back in her office doing what needed to be done. This year, I have literally been on the phone on hold for an hour just waiting for someone to answer the phone! All I want to do is show proof of residency so that I can pay my tuition. I do not understand the lack of responsibility the staff members have to the returning students. At the end, tuition is NOT paid. No longer returning.

There is absolutely NO WAY I would send my kid to this college. People better do their research on the kind of teachers this college hires. Anyone that uses the word "comrades" will NEVER teach my kids!

Broward College is a decent school, however to be successful you must be extremely independent and motivated. It is very common for advisors, professors, and staff to blatantly ignore emails. My guess is this school is extremely under staffed and that there just isn't the support to keep up with the number of students. Be prepared to basically take your classes without much support and do your own advising. In addition to this, I have found they provide very little support for their alum. I graduated from the business program and transferred to a larger university. I have needed 2 syllabi for months and once again my emails are igorned both by the Business Department and my former professors. I have since transferred to a larger university out of state and had a much more pleasant experience.

Extremely incompetent financial aid department. Giving out false information concerning what resources are available for students. If, or when, they finally respond, it is to inform you that, "we don't accept this kind of loan," and by then it is too late to use any of the other financial resources "available."

I am still a student here . Worst organization skills . Not sure how they can advise students the wrong thing, tell them they need to take another class at the last minute, everyone is rude and gives attitude as if you’re just a number .. well students who are actually doing the hard work and are motivated, I feel, shouldn’t be taken lightly and shouldn’t be ignored. My journey at BC has been nothing but a roller coaster of emotional stress. Nothing gets done right away. They make u work for an arm and a leg on something that should of been their responsibility. Not that it matters but I am a straight A student and have a 4.0 and I still get treated like shit by this institution when all I am trying to do is better myself. If anything ... my money is what is keeping your day time job Broward staff.

Ive been here for a few years now and this is simply because i work a full time job outside of school to pay my bills. I returned to broward after attending the university of phoenix which in my personal opinion was a far worse school. Ever since i have returned i have noticed The school is woefully understaffed to accommodate the number of students on the campuses in particular north and central campus not to mention a lack of parking on any of the campuses. I actually repor...

I tried to take prerequisite classes for my graduate degree at this college. I have never encountered such a more inefficient and incompetent administration ever. I had to spend four to six hours every week for 5 weeks trying to register and make sure my classes get paid for and yet after all of that they still got dropped because they didn't process the loan in time. For the first two weeks I was bounced back and forth between advising, financial aid, and registration because no one knew how to fix my problem! Finally after four weeks the assistant financial aid director steps up and almost has my problem fixed and then he just disappears over night (either quit or was fired). I will not give this school a dime of my money because they have already waisted so much of my time.
