I called and I talked to Daniel about fixing my 1994 dodge diesel. It has a bad leak and I personally dont know a lot about diesels. From what I saw on the motor every gasket looked like it had needed to be replaced but I guess that's taking it way over the top. He assured me that wouldnt be a great option and said we will see whats going on and fix what is needed. I talked to another shop and they said to do a full gasket rebuild so I wouldnt have any more issues. I didnt believe it because every 5.9 cummins I have ever seen leaks oil and I dont mind adding oil definately cheaper that what they quoted. I would rather face them as they come and they quoted me after bringing the truck in no questions asked $2200 to $3400 depending how long it took. The honesty even though my truck isn't fixed yet was all in itself worth bringing it to by the book. Thank You!

The only place in town to take your diesel trucks!! Great place to get your truck serviced, they know everything about diesels and are super reasonable as well. I highly recommend them for all of your vehicle needs!

Honest and respectful staff. I used to go to the dealership for maintenance on my vehicles, but have changed to By the Book. I was tired of being told I needed to replace something (even if it was not needing to be replaced) EVERY TIME I went to the dealer. Daniel at By the Book is very knowledgeable and will get you taken care of! Thanks for being some stand up guys!!!

I cannot begin to explain how great these guys are. I was traveling across the country back to NC and had an issue with my diesel exhaust filter on my 2015 F250 and went into limp mode. The local Ford dealerships were absolutely NO HELP whatsoever. It was late on a Friday afternoon and in desperation I called By the Book Diesel. They said just bring it in and we'll take a look. I barely made it by 5:30 and they close at 6:00. Dallas, the awesome gentleman I spoke with, said he would have waited on me if needed. I was in and out of there in half an hour good as new! Quickly diagnosed and repaired. If you need Diesel Service, CALL this shop first! Excellent folks!

I would not use this shop if you do not know someone that referred you personally. If you are new or from out of town, I would recommend you call Silver Star Auto Haus for great reliable work.

I'm from out of town and travel for work. Daniel and his crew did a great job of repairing a few issues and got my truck back in reliable condition. I would highly recommend these guys.
