I thought Dallas had good Persian food until I tried these guys. Great decoration and food and service. The hot tea was a nice touch to their wonderful experience.
I go for lunch a few times per month. They have the most delicious lamb wraps and stews, using very fresh ingredients, try the tasty appetizers, and it has a unique ambiance of the Persian kind! The owners, chef, and servers are very friendly, you will not be disappointed.
Delicious food! I tried the vegan biryani and a couple of vegan appetizers. We were a big party and the others tried lamb and other meat dishes. We all really liked the food. The service was not that good though. The staff was a bit cold and that's the reason for 4 stars.
Traditional Persian decoration and wonderful food that does not break the bank. The hot tea and Persian ice cream was a nice touch.
Very solid Persian food. We had a variety of chicken dishes, one of their dips, and an eggplant dish. All of them were absolutely excellent. The chicken was so juicy, the sauces just the right amount of salt/oil. The servers were also great, and I loved the ambiance -- lots of room for large groups. I would definitely come back here!
Good food, attentive staff, delicious Baklava. I tried the K8 Chicken. Nice subtle lemon pepper seasoning. Rice is mild. Also tried the lentil soup, and really enjoyed it.
Delicious catered lunch that satisfied a range of eaters. We enjoyed a chopped salad that included avocado, cucumber, radish, and tomatoes. Tossed with a vinaigrette, the salad was tasty and light. We had a choice of savory entrées: a beef and mushroom dish & a vegan soy and mushroom dish. I thoroughly enjoyed both. They were hearty and well seasoned. Accompanying these dishes was a long-grain rice dish that was enlivened with raisins, currants, and lentils. The texture and bursts of sweetness from this dish complemented the entrées perfectly. I was happy to be able to take leftovers home to my family.
This is an amazing find. They really do their entrees well and have the nicest owners. I highly recommend it. You will be surprised by the flavors coming out of that little restaurant.
Wow! First time visiting this little spot and we loved it. I went because of all great reviews, and they are right. Little Persian Gem in Austin. Décor was really nice too. I'd love to try many more dishes.
Authentic Persian food. Beautiful interior design, friendly staff. Food was very delicious however we did not like the fact that salad was plated next to our main dish and had no dressing. The service was a bit slow but it wasn’t a big deal. BTW, baklava and the Persian tea at the end was amazing. Highly recommended!
