They don’t respect pronouns, so this isn’t a safe or inclusive space. No thank you.
I believe in recovery for all. I believe recovery should take place in a safe and friendly environment. Unfortunately, members of the LGBTQ+ Community should not-expect fair and just treatment if they seek recovery at Cielo House. A client was told they were being ridiculous when asking for their pronouns to be respected and used. They were called "a patient with the whole transgender thing." by their doctor. How can one recover if they don't feel comfortable?
