Food was delicious!!! Just like my Cuban mother used to make (maybe better). We started with empanadas, then moved on to "El Tipico" (lechón asado, arroz congrí, yuca con mojo), and finished with flan. It was all fantastic! Large portions so you can take some home, or stuff yourself like I did. We went for lunch on Sunday and were 1 of only 2 tables seated when we arrived. I'm glad we went early because it got really busy to the point where they could have used another server. Bottom line, I definitely recommend D'Cuba!

I’ve been to almost every Cuban restaurant in the city and this is as authentic as it gets. If it tastes as good as my grandmas cooking, it’s a win-win! It’s also BYOB and be patient with street parking.

Love this place! I think it's some of the best Cuban food in Chicago. Very tasteful and good size portions. Thier cafe con leche is great and beats starbucks in my opinion. Thier menu is diverse, although I wish they wouldn't scratch things of thier menu with a sharpie, but perhaps that's part of the experience. Sometimes they run out of certain food items, understandable for a small restaurant I guess. All in all, my wife and I love thier food so much that we overlook these small things

First time here we had a table of 8 people and was the best starting with the server. Our food all came out all at once.our server was very attentive. The portions are super big for the great price which I love and the food was delicious. Best jibaritos! My boyfriend who is white was very pleased and noticed the difference between other Cuban places we have gone to.
