Born and raised in Manhattan, my work is informed by an interest in the arts and culture, and the sacred and often mysterious transitions of birth, illness and death. It may not sound like it, but I am a traditional physician, an MD who listens and uses the healing power of touch and gentle presence to care for the whole patient.

Doctor Barton has not treated me or a loved one. However, I have worked with her on a professional level and she is competent, caring, knowledgeable and very helpful. I wished she lived in my geographical location so that we could have her look after our mother-in-law. I have every bit of confidence that our mother-in-law would be in safe hands with the best care.
