Very good Island food. Great people, and they explain what's in it....

I went to flames to buy bun and cheese haven’t had it in years. I went to open the sandwich because it looked like there was no cheese at the bottom and guess what I found. The slice of cheese was cut in a triangle to give the illusion the entire sandwich had cheese and it did not! It’s a shame that a place that is always booked would rip off its customers in the underhanded way. Ummmm it’s called BUN & CHEESE —— not BUN & BUN with a lickle peace ah cheese!! Shame on you flames 😡

Hands down the Best place for authentic Jamaican Food in Boston. I've been to at least 6 other Jamaican restaurants here, and nothing compares. The stew chicken, the oxtail and the patties are on point. Once I saw the carrot in the gravy, I knew I was in the right place.

The place has good food but it can use some cleaning. Cleanliness is very important for all restaurants. This one failed miserably.

I just left Flames. I enjoy the food some of the time but mi discuss is mostly what I ask for didn't have. How many places as that don't have boneless chicken these days. They should really pay more attention to reviews ppl leaving to serve us better and our needs.

I picked up dinner or lunch from here a couple times on my 3 week visit. The food was good for the most part. Except one day, I got bbq chicken and it was not tasty at all and the rice and peas was soggy. I like my cabbage cruncy but theirs could use a little time over the fire. They do a good mutton, oxtail and beef. My grandmother also loves their shrimp.
