Words can't express this venue unless you've been blessed to experience it hands on you wouldn't get the full ambiance and treatment that Monique Thomas and her staff creates for her brides and grooms. I found the venue Nov 2015 and Immediately called to get an appointment to get a walk through, during the initial time I called Monique's assistance called me back, took my information and explained that Monique was preparing for a wedding and that she will be in contact with me in a few. Me thinking she's busy I'll hear from her in a couple days. NOPE! Monique called me back that same day within an hour of my I initial phone call. She was very pleasant and even being busy with another wedding, was informative and set us up for an appointment to come and take a walk through. Needless to say after my visit with Monique, not only was I impressed I went home and told my fiancé that this was the place. He asked me what it would take to book it. I immediately text Monique that evening asking her when she would be free to book us. She was surprised to be hearing from me so soon (the same day). Once she met my fiancé he explained to her that what sold me on the venue was her promptness and professionalism (That goes a long way with me) being that we weren't due to get married until the following year our time of getting to know Monique was way before the initial meeting in May when we had to pick our dinner menu and linen colors. I spoke with her maybe once a week about my ideas. We laughed she gave me advise on not just my wedding but on becoming a wife. We developed a bond. And to this day even tho we got married 7/28/16 not a day doesn't go by that I don't wish we could do it all over again. Not only was Monique and I insync with our coordination of the whole wedding theme to the point that I had given her full responsibility of taking on that task and on our wedding day needless to say she had me in tears as I arrived to the venue with my bridesmaids, mom and whole bridal party. I peeked through the doors and thankfully my makeup wasn't done, because my eyes begin to fill with HAPPY TEARS! She NAILED IT! Way more BEYOND my imagination on just what she had done to the room so far, she still was decorating but the place was simply a Romantic Dream Wedding. The professionalism of the entire staff was PHENOMENAL. There was never a time that when I would call Monique that she didn't answer or meet with me to go over any plans I might wanted to incorporate in the wedding day. My entire wedding party LOVED them some Monique and my mother still ask (a year later) how is Monique going? The impression she left on my family and friends both traveling out of state she made everyone feel at home. I look forward to our vow renewal just so we can experience the whole HOPE BANQUET HALL experience once again. I have already recommended this place as one of the top venues in the Atlanta area. We had our wedding here this past March. The owner Monique was one of the most difficult and unorganized person to work with. This was our special day, so we expected the process to go smooth and it was the total opposite. She would tell us one thing and then say another later, change the prices, she couldn't keep up with anything. But what put the nail in the coffin was that she refused to give us our rehersal time until the very week of our wedding in an effort for her to book another event instead and was rude. Our actual wedding day turned out pretty good, which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. But the process leading up to it, was a nightmare! I would not recognize this facility.
This is an excellent place of business for weddings. They gave outstanding service. They really know how a wedding should be given. You really get everything beyond what you have paid for. They are the best in the business. Very good and friendly peoples.
We got married here on 9/3/2017. The entire process was orderly and seamless. If you're looking for a place that will make everything crystal clear with no hidden costs, this is it. We met and paid our deposit and never was hassled again. They will work with you! To be honest, they are very busy and that may be a turnoff to bridezillas if you want them to be on call 24/7 for you but you can be sure that your needs and wants will be there on your day. I was hesitant about having a wedding period because of the costs but our wedding was just as nice as the $30k ones I've been to. Call Monique and see what she can do for your day.
We had our wedding reception at Hope Banquet Hall, July 15, 2017 and were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. Monique Thomas and the rest of the staff were nothing but helpful in the run up and during the course of our wedding reception-we couldn't thank them enough. As a wedding/wedding reception venue we couldn't fault anything. The food was out of this world, all of our guests commented on the quality of the food. The lemon-pepper chicken, mashed potatoes and the veggies-it was all amazing! We had an wonderful time! Our out of town guests loved our open bar and how quickly Oz(Bartender) made their drinks. Thank you Oz!!! The venue played a huge part in the success of our weekend and our 250 guests who are still talking about your venue is testament to that. We got married April of 2016. We had an awesome experience with hosting our wedding reception at the Hope Banquet Hall. The venue itself was perfect for our reception and we loved the interior decor and openness of the hall. The staff members were always professional and they truly went above and beyond for every small vision we had for our event. The whole day ran smoothly and as the bride that is exactly what I dreamed of, especially when you have 200+ people to accommodate. We had several meetings leading up to the big day and Monique was always on point and prepared, ready to listen to our requests and preferences. Every little detail was honored the day of the reception and it showed - everyone in attendance had a great time, as did we as the bride/groom and commented about how well executed everything was. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
Clean,ample Lavatories, ample parking, very prestigious inside n out,People that's employed there are Awesome in attitude toward Guests and very accommodating, Great place to have any function,Decorations Are Second to None!
Visited this hall for a wedding Feb 2018. The wedding and reception was hosted in this location. The location provides one big room and was sectioned off by draping. If you are hosting a wedding and or reception you don't have much room to hold guest before seating. Please be sure to ask all important questions before booking to ensure you are aware of additional cost for the kitchen, draping etc. Overall wedding turned out nice.
Best place EVER!!!! This place is a Party Planner"s dream!!!! Nice caterers kitchen. Guest restrooms are extremely clean and beautiful. They have coat check and the owners are awesome!!!! Ask for Ms. Hope 💜
