This is where the “Silk Road Noodles” (”王一碗” in Chinese) used to be. Silk Road Noodles was closed due to sanitary violations. I don’t exactly know the new restaurant’s relationship with the old one, but the menu is 80% to 90% the same. The table and the chopsticks are still not clean, and the food quality are worse than before. The noodles with sauerkraut fish barely have any sauerkraut in it and the soup tastes like at least three days old. I took a sip and couldn’t help spiting it out. Forgot to mention, they didn’t bring us any spoons and we had to go get them ourselves. Perhaps they didn’t want the customer to taste the soup. Bad bad bad. Oh, and it’s definitely not Hunan food.
