My problem isn't with the lab it's self, it's will their billing. They have been a living nightmare. They have misapplied bills over and over. Sending accounts that had been paid to collections. And no one has been helpful the dozen times I've called. They don't know what's going as on either so it just keeps getting messier. They even gave my lawyer the runaround. Mind you half of these bills that should have been taken care of by central lab are from 2014. You would think they could figure it out by now. Unfortunately for me, they can't. Even the patient financial services for IHC couldn't figure out what they were doing and was very frustrated and referred me to the supervisor for central lab billing office. I still haven't heard back from them. What a mess of a company.

The lab is great. Every experience I have had going in has been wonderful. The billing is the nightmare.. I've had issues now with two different visits, a year apart. The second time, knowing that it potentially could be a problem, I verified my insurance info and confirmed the removal of the old insurance at the lab draw visit. I also called the week after to follow up and make sure billing would go through correctly. They told me it would and to wait 30 days for it to post on my insurance. My insurance is on top of it. I usually get statements within days accompanied by an email. Nothing posted during the 30 days. I called them back, they said it was billed correctly and they would bill it again and to wait 30 more days. This went on 3 or 4 times over a 6 month period before I called my insurance company who confirmed they never received anything. Fortunately, my insurance finally told me to just have IHC fax me a copy of the statement. I then sent this to my insurance company and they got it paid. That was after the year prior's visit when nothing showed up for 6 months until a statement was mailed out showing they billed the wrong insurance. Ironically, when they switched the insurance that time, the billing went through. The lab visit/experience is great and I wish billing wasn't such a pain so I could go back. I switched to St. Mark's which is setup to bill my insurance correctly.

If you need labs done and you have to have them done at this facility. Do not go to building 2, go to the lab in building 7. I've had three draws within the last two months. I was in and out within 5 minutes. I come here to building 2 and it's now been over an hour. They know my deductible is met, yet still want to double check. They have all my info, DL, insurance info. Yet still wanna scan everything and waste my time.
