If you're a women seriously have fun using their rest rooms; it's crammed but, their food is wonderful and the service is 10/10. They have been in business forever, obviously an amazing restaurant, but it's very much of a college eatery. (Ask for secret menue ;).

Stopped by 12/13/19 with my family around 10pm. Only 2 tables were occupied and we sat on the corner table by the front. Few minutes later we were given menus. 4 additional groups came in, got seated with menus, and were offered drinks immediately. We knew what we wanted to order, however, 15 minutes went by and we were not acknowledge by the waitress, so my husband asked when we were going to be attended. She was nonchalant and said "oh!, what do you want". We were the only customers of color and felt racism since the second we came in. We asked for a manager at that time and she said there was no manager. My husband went to the front and another lady told him the manager was there. I walked out of the restaurant with my children and was ready to go. We were the only ones not even asked about our choice of beverage and the waitress continued to overlook us. My husband stayed behind to talk to the "manager". Beware they are racist and will not serve you unless you are caucasian looking.

Jerusalem cafe is one of the best restaurants near DU. Fantastic food for a reasonable price, and open (almost) any time of day or night. Restaurant can get a little cold during the winter, though, if you are planning on eating in

My favorite falafel of anywhere I've ever been, and I'm constantly looking for good ones! I've taken several coworkers here who all have very different diets, and everyone has left happy and full! Craving Arabic coffee now...

Has vegan options and is open late. Absolutely fantastic. Food was really good. I’ll definitely be eating here next time I’m in Denver. Only complaint I have is they didn’t give me napkins and something leaked but I honestly didn’t even care

Can't ask for anything more. Lentil soup is just amazing. Their plates see good value for money. Plus they are open till late. Great service too 👍. They are very authentic too. Don't ever forget to try their baklava.

Unbelievably delicious Mediterranean food!!! Worth the wait to find a seat! So well-prepared and well-seasoned. Great location in the DU area. I miss going there since I moved up the 'Burbs. Highly recommend!

I actually didn't get to eat here. I was in line, and by the drink machine, I could hear the owner completely degrading one of the servers. He was being absolutely horrible with his criticism, and as a restaurant manager, I would never talk down to my employees the way that man did, I would be constructive, and I wouldn't do it so openly but be in a private setting. If you want your business to do good, treat the ones who keep it going good. Needless to say, I decided not to patronize that establishment

The food was delicious. The service was pretty good. Two of our orders were messed up but it was extremely busy so I understand. Along with being busy the place is also very small. I wouldn't recommend going on a weekend unless you don't mind crowded places. I would go here again but definitely not on a busy day.
