Non-percussionist middle school band director here. The guys at Lone Star are amazing. They’ve spent a lot of time on the phone with me over the past 7 years as l’ve updated equipment at my current school. Helped me determine exactly what suits my need on a few different occasions. The latest call was when AC reached out to me because the order I placed for new timpani heads looked off. He ended up cross checking my order with previous ones to ensure that we ended up with the correct sizes. Because he went the extra mile, I was saved a future headache. Much appreciated! The impeccable customer service is why I keep coming back.

Everyone I order from lone star, I get my product in a timely fashion. I ordered the Pat Petrillo practice station last Saturday and received it yesterday. I love the new practice station. I highly recommend it for instructors and students. Keep up the good work lone star percussion. 👍

Well stocked, knowledgeable staff. Good location, easy parking. Fellow visitors were happy to help. Got FS pr2s snare sticks and snare stand plus a drum key.

I ordered 2 items on backorder in August. I have emailed customer service multiple times to be told it will be 2 more weeks again and again. My last email has gone unanswered for 2 weeks now. I can't seem to get a refund although I've asked for one twice now. I just want the items I paid for and then I will never purchase another item from this business. I would rather pay more than deal with the terrible customer service. Shame on you.

Been buying drum gear here for decades. Huge selection and employees who are drummers and understand drums. You will be hard pressed to find a better selection at any typical music store.

This place has everything! Marcus was Very helpful and knowledgeable about products and drum technique. Gave me some tuning tips that made My set sound 100% better. My new favorite store for percussion.

Incredibly helpful staff everytime I've been there. My daughter is the percussionist and I don't know a lot about the specifics or nuances of the variety of items I've purchased. The suggestions they make have been geared to the best fit for her needs, not the biggest price tag. She has never been disappointed with the gear from this store. I'd recommend them to anyone.
