Total Automotive was not only the first place I called, but the only place. Their service is second to none. They proved to be very accommodating with getting my truck in and giving me a loaner while it was worked on. Joe and Dave were wonderful to communicate with and I found them to be extremely trustworthy. These things are critical, especially to a single mom like me. I was able to get my car in the same day I called. The staff was friendly and courteous. I was able to use a loaner car at no charge while my car was being repaired. Professional atmosphere and very clean facility. 👍

Wonderful family-owned company. My family has been going to them for years. They are honest and hard-working. They will tell you what needs to be fixed (and not try to get you to buy things that you don't need) and get you out of there quickly. I drive back from Illinois every few months just to take my car to Total. 10/10 would recommend.

Update: Now the same problem that I came in for is back it’s been about 1,000miles. Went to another shop and was told the wheelhub had slight play (which was just replaced brand new) and was told the main hub bolt was jacked up so I don't know what total did to it and the bolt had to be replaced, and the speed sensor is bad (which total failed to diagnose as well). Also, the part that was recommended to me was a Moog part and the Moog part only came in one wheel hub size and it ended up not being the right size for my vehicle. I wouldn’t have brought the wrong part in if it wasn’t recommended to me. And I was charged a $90 diagnosis fee (which is totally fine) but when I went to pay I didn’t see the $90 deducted anywhere like I was promised if I got the work done there. The employees are great to work with and are always nice and understanding of what you have to say. The only negative is the prices. The labor rate isn’t horrible (it’s reasonable at $110/hour but I’ve heard Roy’s Autoworks is cheaper at $75/hour) and for example I can take my Volkswagen to the dealer for $110/hour. I recommend you bring in your own parts to save a ton of money. For example, a wheel hub I needed was $100 online and $270 at total automotive.

This was the first time I have used this facility and was pleasantly surprised how quickly I was able to get my car in for repairs. I was able to leave my car in the morning and was able to pick it up that very afternoon. Joe was very professional and provided me with a very detailed cost of my repairs. Totally a professional outfit and I would highly recommend it for any repairs required on your car.

I needed an urgent custom alignment and 2 shops turned me down given how custom built my car is. Brandon (the shop manager) was very pleasant given my demanding request and introduced me to Todd (technician) who worked on my car. They didn’t compromise on the quality of the work whatsoever. They gave me a loaner vehicle during this job and delivered on time nonetheless! The work was of high quality and my car is ruining the best it ever has! They were professional and reassured me that the work would be of highest quality and they delivered! Very happy with the work and would recommend them to all my friends and family! :)
