I get my hair cut by Kelly and it's always a great experience. She's very skilled and pleasant to chat with. I also enjoy listening to the other stylist's stories; very entertaining stuff. The salon has great atmosphere; clean, bright walls, comfy sofas, and cupcakes for the taking.
I've seen Errin here a few times, and while I think that she cuts hair well, I found making/rescheduling appointments to be difficult at best. The online system doesn't show you alternatives for your selected stylist, and instead of showing available appointments by month, it shows by week, requiring you to click and click and then click some more. It's poorly designed and a hassle to use. No problem, you think, I'll call to make an appointment. Good luck! They rarely answer their phone and only sporadically return messages. When I was sick with the flu the day before my long-awaited appointment (you have to book out pretty far in advance), I called and called to cancel with enough notice. No answer. Left a message, no response. Called the next morning, too, same thing. I called all the next week to reschedule and probably tried about 20 times before I was able to get someone on the phone.
I went mop Hair Salon for the first time last week. It’s such a cute salon on Tremont Street and you instantly feel welcomed when you walk in. I really liked the décor and how open the space is. I was recommended to see Nicole to get highlights and a haircut. She asked me if I wanted to add some layers, I was a bit nervous because I usually hate how other hair dressers have layered my hair, but I gave her the go. When she finished blow drying my hair, I was so excited to see the finish product. She layered my hair perfectly and the color looks awesome. I’ve been getting so many compliments on my hair cut/ color. Nicole is the BEST! I can’t wait for my next appointment.
I've had the best haircuts of my life from Errin. Not only is she great at what she does, but she's given me a ton of helpful advice on how I can better maintain my hair--both in terms of its health and how it looks. The salon itself is a warm, friendly environment, and though I've never had the other stylists cut my hair, they're fantastic people with great personalities.

I saw many reviews about this salon and my friend wanted to get ombre for her hair so, I recommended this place to her. She went to Yuri and the color came out really great. I then, went to get a hair cut a couple weeks ago and I loved her cut! She's really honest about any color or cut suggestions before she actually starts. She definitely has skill in both cut and color. She's amazing! I highly recommend her.
Great salon, staffed by great stylists with years of experience. Whether you need a men's cut (that's me), women's cut and color, or Diva services for those curly peeps out there, there is a stylist for you. Highly recommend.
mop Hair Salon is amazballz! Love her and what she did for my hair! Awesome head massage and top notch service plus her blow out lasted for a week! She is highly skilled and pleasure to talk to. Plus an amazing view of union square from the salon. If you need a new look or just a trim Davis is your woman!
