12/05/16. For me You can tell how you will be treated by the attitude of the front desk/phone staff. I just tried to make an appointment today and I cannot be seen until the 20th or 21st . I told the lady who answered that I would rather be seen earlier but thank you for your time and she hung up on me without a goodbye or anything. She seemed to be someone who did not want to be there. NOT PHONE FRIENDLY AT ALL. PICK A DIFFERENT ORTHOPEDIC PLACE!!!

Went to see the doctor there about a shoulder replacement. Wanted to send me down the hall to a different doctors office because they wouldn't do the replacement. Why advertise as a total joint replacement specialist if you just send people to other doctors to have a joint replacement done. Pitiful!!

I have been seen by this group since 1996, they have always shown the best possible care and concern for my well being. I will not go to any other orthopedic doctor unless Dr Orth recommends it.

Dr. Dugan and those who work for him are very caring. I appreciate the fact that he tries everything possible to relieve pain without doing surgery. I would highly recommend Orthopedic Surgeons Inc.

The doctor seemed like he completely didn't care about me being in pain. I have a fractured shoulder based off the X-rays and CT Scan I got from NKC Hospital the night before. He didn't bother to really even look at the X-rays that were sent over from NKC Hospital. He was completely rude and acted like he didn't care about my injury. I was referred to him by a doctor from NKC Hospital. He had this demeanor as if I just strolled in there with a fake injury and he acted like he had better things to do then to assess my injury. Then he yawned in the middle of our conversation. As I'm talking to him about my injury I can tell he wasn't listening to me do to him misconstruing my words. Before the doctor came in to see me a different male nurse came in to take my vitals and I talked with him about my injury and he even said that with my type of injury that the doctor would probably want his own X-rays. Yet the doctor took NO X-rays and made no mention of performing any other procedures there. Also he just felt my arm where the injury was and just said oh we'll do and MRI and just left the room without a care. It seemed like he only suggested the MRI to make it seem like he cared about my injury. If he's going to treat his patients like that then apparently he doesn't care about communicating with his patients on a personal level especially when they're injured and it's his job to help me.

Dr. Dugan is an amazing surgeon, wonderful demeanor and couldn't ask for a better doc! His skills helped save my spot at the USSC (United States Shooting Center).

This orthopedic group is awesome. I've been going here for about 18 years. David Paul with this group has done 3 of my 4 left knee surgeries (the first one done over 30 years ago elsewhere predestined me for more surgeries to follow). Nothing but great compassion, care and service.

Very disapointed, nurse and staff did there part trying to get appt made for a mri. Many issues w dianostic imaging therefore caused issue with getting results to the dr paul. Calling office for help over the trouble issues and finding out the money that would have to be paid for mri. Resulted in myself questioning few things and checking if another option was available. The end of all this and frustration it has caused myself trying to get a issue resolved resulting in Dr Paul refusing to give anymore orthopedic care to me. Now this has cause myself to start all over n looking for dr to fix my shoulder issue..assuming mr paul was the answer , handful of months of my time was wasted now..very disappointing to know a highly spoke about dr will still turn there back on patients..

The most disorganized organization I have ever visited. No chiefs and all Indians running around like ants chatting with each other rather than doing their jobs. Maybe if they were assigned a specific job instead of trying to do all the jobs something would be done right. My first and foremost pet peeve is that they cannot or don't look in my file to get the automatic payment schedule I set up with them the week before my surgery. Every visit they ask if I want to make a payment so I remind them of the schedule which they still haven't done. So N KC Hospital sends me paperwork to setup payments through their billing outfit. DOH! Next is that they can't/don't or won't listen to recorded calls to get scripts filled, the in house nurse is overwhelmed I suppose. I had a script in the office for a full day and they failed to call me and let me know it was there for me to pickup. I called the following late morning after I ran out and they told me they didn't get it till late the day before so I asked why I had to call and they didn't call me the next morning. No excuse. UH! OUCH! Many times I have to bypass them and call my Dr's nurse to get the script. Which I do now anyway. I wish my Dr. would disassociate with this group.

Went to the Blue Springs office used to see another knee surgeon but he and another doctor left and we know who they are and they are very nice surgeons so my cousin sees Dr. Robert Paul so i asked my cousin how we was and he said he liked him. So i made an appointment and he said sadly i need a knee replacement as i had no inside cartilage in my knee. Dr. Paul did a great job and has been almost a year now and still doing great. The whole OSI team is magnificent ! I did my physical therapy before and after and every thing that was expected of me and was released from his care just shy of 6 weeks! Thank you so much.
