Erica in customer service was awful. She is of no help.
I have had to call numerous times because my water is brown. They keep saying to let it run to resolve the issue but this is ridiculous. It is more than just sediment.
I was just told that our water bill will be a minimum of $34.50 for up to 3000 gallons of water usage. We are only at this home on weekends and used 116 gallons of water. This is totally ridiculous especially for water that you don't really have confidence in using because it's always brown!!! The person I spoke with was very rude and told me "I was sarcastic"!!! More like dumbfounded!!! This is definitely a ripoff!!!!
This is the WORST utility company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Erica, in customer service, is one of the most disrespectful, unprofessional, condescending, unhelpful customer service reps I have ever spoken to. I am shocked at how she treated me over the phone. This company is an absolute embarrassment. I have been trying to get my bill resolved for TWO MONTHS. Someone, ANYONE, please rid us of Piedmont's monopoly on our water.
We have brown water yet again! This is a constant problem with them. The only time they will send someone out is between their normal business hours Monday through Friday. If you ask for a later time or weekend you are told they have families and will not come out at this time. They also blame the problem on the customer. I am tired of this monopoly and wish we had our old water company back as we never had such problem with them.
WORST WATER COMPANY EVER !! THEY ARE CROOKS. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. I WANT TO MOVE SO I DONT EVER HABE TO DEAL WITH THEM.
Worst customer service ever!!! We have had muddy water for 3 days and the office is closed at 2:30pm on a weekday and the answering service refuses to have anyone paged or call me back. The company had a water main break 3 days ago and I have had brown water since the break. The company refuses to send anyone to our house to check the water at our meter. The customer service representatives hang up on you when they do not know an answer to your questions. I also had a terrible experience dealing with Erica who is supposed to be a supervisor in customer service.
Piedmont is truly awful. Their service is subpar and too often their system is unavailable for payment processing. The reviews are an accurate representation of their repugnant service. Get it together, folks. Just because you have a monopoly on service, doesn't give you the right to be Grade-A horrible people.
OK the reviews on here are what I dealt with when they replaced, bought out our old co. I also had a horrible experience. I once wanted to drive my payment to them to avoid cut off and they said we could not. Do they have an office? We could only mail in our payment. Other companies here had places in banks, etc where you could pay and get receipt in hand. Finally they have pay online options. But it looks like it has gotten worse again. Dang. We live out in a rural area. There is no one around here with piedmont just a group of houses. There has to be a way to get another co. I am worried about safe water. We have not dealt with that here. I gave been a customer over 10 yrs.
