Welcome to Psychiatry Atlanta, where Dr. Ross Grumet provides a wide range of psychiatric services for adults 18 and older including ADD/ADHD, Depression, Bipolar, Insomnia, Eating Disorders, Addiction. Because of I-85 travel delays interfering with necessary treatment, please be aware that alternative “telepsychiatry” (telephone and other means) will be available. Fees are the same; prescriptions can be called in or mailed or picked up.

It was nice to finally found a doctor who could diagnose and treat adult ADHD, as I found that is extremely hard to find...BUT...here I am sitting in the waiting room 30 minutes passed my appointment time. When I arrived..ON TIME..they said that I didn't have an appointment today but I could wait and they would squeeze me in. So at first I thought I must have messed it up...BUT then I found my appointment reminder card from them and aha! I DID have an appointment...they said I could reschedule but what they don't realize is that it is still a waste of time to even drive here. So to come back another day is still a HUGE inconvenience...and to top it all off, I am the one who ends up paying the extra cost for parking for the added time that THEY have wasted. Needless to say, I am not happy at all... After wasting another 30 minutes here with no patient movement in front of me I have decided to not waste another minute with this doctor.
Folks.....you will always have disgruntled people wanting to write a not so good review because they may not be happy for numerous reasons that have nothing to do with what they are claiming. Dr. Grumet is a very caring person who wanted me to be well. I'd go so far as to say he has made my life worth living again. What a great man Dr. Ross Grumet is. Bill Goldstein PS: Jeff was excellent...but BRIAN is the "Man" and the best office manager I have seen in my 9 years with Dr. Grumet. If I owned a business, I'm sorry Dr. Grumet...but I'd have to hire Brian away from you...JOB WELL DONE, BRIAN....!
Love Dr. Grumet; has really helped me through some rough times. Definitely the best psychiatrist I've seen (but haven't seen many). Dr. Grumet really works with the problems and finding solutions that are helpful. He is always around if there is something urgent My favorite receptionist is Michael! He is awesome and always so helpful! I have a very restricted schedule due to a special needs 3 1/2 yr old and Michael has always been so great with working me in the schedule. Michael is so nice and friendly. I love coming in on the days he is at work!!
After years of seeing Dr. Grumet, I'll be seeking a new provider due to his office staff. Bryan delights in being as rude, inappropriate and unprofessional as possible. The provider won't offer routine refills on your RX's without the $$$ of a copay, and he disappears for weeks at a time. Disappointed.
As far as expertise and knowledge, Dr. Grumet is the best in Atlanta.
Dr. Grumet is wonderful. I've never been to someone that truly listened and took action to help. He has given me my life back! Thank you Dr. Grumet!!
Left me in the waiting room for 2.5 hours. I didn't have any medication on me and began having a panic attack. The receptionist threatened to call the police on me for making a scene in their office. I asked for him to see the doctor on my behalf. Dr. Grumet came out and told me I was disrupting his practice and told me to leave or he would also call the police. All I was doing was crying and shaking. Dr. Grumet was treating me for Panic Disorder so this amount of callousness was unexpected and I went out in the hallway to cry. The receptionist followed me out and told me and called security while I was sitting there. I am not, as other reviews stated, unhappy for "other reasons" -- and I have since found a doctor who sees her patients on time and remembers who I am from one appointment to the next. Her name is Dr. Amanda Williams. She has shown me what a professional psychiatrist is supposed to act like.
I have been seeing Dr Grumet for many years. I absolutely love him, he's a great Doctor and a great person! He has helped me so much !
I have been a patient of Dr. Grumet for approximately 4 years. Tina, who runs his office, is by far the best office manager he has had. She is SO caring, responsive, and professional. She is a unique gem in this corrupt world and I hope she continues to stay with Dr. Grumet. The office manager is just as important as the doctor, and I have never felt genuinely cared for until I met Tina. It means so much.
