We have been going here for decades and have never had a bad meal. No one can touch their meatball and cheese. So amazing.
First time here. Got the meatball sub with everything. Wow so goood definitely coming back to try something else. You live in Burbank definitely try this place out. The guys here are very attentive, as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted. They work fast and the place smells like fresh bread.

Was good for the price. Place definitely needs a remodel but if still churning a profit why spend the money. Seems like a lot of wasted space. I'm not sure if I'll go back. Not that I had a bad experience because I didnt. But not exactly what I was expecting. I gave the 4 stars because after all the food was good. But I was hoping for more flavors than I recieved
Some people like it. Not me as I had a bad experience. First of all when you order a pepper steak sandwich , the meat is cooked on a skillet NOT BOILED! Secondly I must have gotten the ends of the roast (so as not to waste meat I imagine. Good for them but bad for me) because I got these 4"X 2" flaps that were very tough to chew as I ended up pulling them out when I bit down and then had to manually tear those pieces up into manageable size to swallow. Straight up never going back
We ordered 9 sandwiches for a small luncheon with side salads. They got it ready in 10 minutes on a walk up order. Never disappointed on the quality and service. Love Santoro's!
Cool little joint with friendly folks. But the pastrami was the most bland mess of a sandwich I've ever had. The meat and toppings both had zero flavor. I could taste the mustard that was it. By the time I got it back to work to eat 5 minutes up the road the bread was all mush. It was like someone had dunked the whole thing in water. Not a flavorful au jus, water. Despite that the meat was still stringy and dry. I tried, but ended up throwing most of it out. Disappointing.
I like the food. If I understand correctly this is a family business. The service is nice too.
A step above others nearby. Been here like forever. Their hot meatball sandwich is awesome.
