Henna (Lawsonia Inermis) is a plant which is dried and powdered to create a paste that can stain hair or skin. Henna paste is made from mixing the henna powder with lemon juice, essential oils, and sugar.

I contacted the artist at The Henna Hollow to get some henna for a special occasion. I had picked one design that she was able to replicate perfectly. The other hand, I was undecided, so I asked her to use a few other designs as a guide and add more detail to it. The henna tattoos she made were beautiful, and the stains was nice and dark, and lasted almost 2 weeks. I was really impressed by her attention to detail and how quick she was. I will definitely be coming back for more.
