I brought my Dodge diesel truck to Trans Tech for some repairs and everything was completed in a timely manner and the cost was reasonable! My truck runs great and I'm very happy with the outcome! Jim answered any questions I had! I can tell he runs his shop with professionalism and integrity! My wife was impressed how clean the waiting room was for customers! I’ve been restoring my ‘69 Chevy truck for a while now and I decided that I wanted to have a 4 speed transmission installed. I checked around and found Trans Tech online and I read all their good reviews, so I went and checked them out. I met Jim and he told me they could install what I wanted and he gave me a rough quote. It took about a week to complete and Jim gave me updates along the way. I’m always skeptical, with regards to auto repair shops, about pricing and if at all possible, I prefer to do the work myself. However, I can tell you that the high reviews for this shop are accurate. The price of work was exactly what Jim claimed it would be and the truck runs excellent. I’ve also talked to a few of the workers during this experience and he’s got a great team working for him. I recommend this shop to my friends and I’m also planning on having my ‘96 Vette serviced in the near future. Thanks to Jim and his team for exceptional service!

Diagnosed and repaired my 99 Ranger 4x4 drive train. Jim and his crew are courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, and fully professional. They fixed a rear differential problem just before it failed catastrophically. Trans Tech also checked and performed requested maintenance on the transfer case before that became my next issue to contend with. I have my truck running like new again for a very reasonable cost. Excellent service all the way around. Trans Tech has a new lifetime customer.

They have had my Isuzu Trooper for going on FIVE MONTHS. I am beyond frustrated with the service I have received from this company. I just want my vehicle back. I've wasted 5 months of insurance payments while it sits there and I need to have it back. This is a warranty situation so I feel like they have put it on the back burner because there so no money to be made! This infuriates me as I feel I am being taken advantage of. Sick of calling them to see if it's ready yet! Come On! Finish the job, it's been WAY TOO LONG!

Took my Escalade in for a diagnostic first thing on 01/30 due to a ticking sound in my engine. I felt it was likely a lifter or the cam. First being most likely but I wanted to be sure before either I or them took any further action on it. So I took it in for the diagnostic. After days of getting that they were looking into it. I got it back this morning on 02/04. I asked what they had found out and I was told "it's deep in there". I tried asking what that meant to get some kind of idea what they were thinking, and was told they don't really know and they would have to take it apart. I asked if they pulled the valve covers (which I'd think would be the first step in diagnosing a tick) and the day I pick it up I'm told they don't do that in a diagnostic. He said they have a good stethoscope and a camera. When I dropped it off I was told it may be a few days if they have to pull the covers. 3 business days and I'm guessing all they did was try to listen to it? In my initial contact with them, I had explained I already had a shop with a stethoscope look at it and they told me what area the thought it was coming from. And that was free of charge... So I just paid $140 for what I had done days prior and still to not have an answer on my engine tick. Most places won't charge if they can't tell you what's wrong in a diagnostic. I'll be opening the valve covers this weekend to physically look at the lifters myself to narrow the issue down. Wish i had gotten it back last Friday so I could have had it done already.

Brought truck to Transtech after Thanksgiving for estimate. Received a call middle of December quoting $2800.00 to repair. Can now not afford the repair. Tried to pick up the week after Christmas and they were closed all week. Tried to pick up the first week in January and they demanded $700.00 for storage fees. Have tried repeatedly to resolve this but the storage fees just keep going up. No paperwork warning of storage fees. Just the surprise. Going to small claims court and I will post the result however it turns out for the benefit of anyone who reads this post.
