Company Description

In 1966, in a small wooden building situated among a grove of eucalyptus trees, UC San Diego Extension first opened its doors. Under the guidance of Dr. Martin Chamberlain, a former Peace Corps director in Africa, Extension quickly established a reputation for being a reliable source of knowledge taught by national experts. The first educational programs reflected the social turbulence of the times, with courses in radical rhetoric and international affairs.

I LOVE the Technical Communication courses--I finished my BA in English with them and plan to continue on to get a Certificate. I don't know if Bonni Graham-Gonzalez is still teaching but if she is, she is one of the best online instructors I've ever had, and I've taken a LOT of online courses.

Thank you, UCSD Extension, for making it easy for me to use my GI Bill to obtain a graduate certificate! Your helpful, friendly, and responsive staff made the process seamless and stress-free. I also sincerely appreciate the professionalism and expertise of the instructors. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely look to UCSD for any further education needs.
