What are Rack Servers?
A Rack server or a rack mounted server is a computer program that can be used as a server. It is designed and installed in a rack which is a framework. The rack contains a number of slots called bays, each of them is designed to hold a hardware. The hardware units are safe and secured in the place with the help of screws. A single rack consists of more than one server arranged one over another. The rack server is also able to simplify the cabling across various network components. This system however requires a special cooling system so that power dissipation from a lot of racks cannot cause any issue. If not cooled properly, these devices might make you lose files and important stuff.
