Company Description

ÑAÑO ECUADORIAN KITCHEN opened on Halloween night 2013.  Ñaño, means brother to Ecuadorians and was the perfect name for the restaurant.  The idea of opening an Ecuadorian restaurant in Hell's Kitchen was born two years prior. The concept of the dishes has evolved over the years since the birth of this idea.

My first time trying Ecuadorian food and this place didn't disappoint. It's a really tiny place right in the heart of Hell's Kitchen with space hardly big enough for a dozen people so best to make a reservation before heading there. The food is quite delicious and they also have some really good (and strong) cocktails to choose from. There was just one guy managing the restaurant (At the bar, taking orders and serving) but he was very attentive and friendly. He also customized some of the menu choices to our liking and everything came quickly. Will definitely come again.

This unassuming Ecuadorian restaurant is PACKED with flavor! Abel is such a gracious host and the food is absolutely delicious. I can't believe that I am just coming to dine here today. Will be back regularly!

A great little hole-in-the-wall find. Some wonderful Ecuadorian food. I had the goat, which was quite good. I had it with some Ecuadorian wine, which went well with the goat. There's very little seating, so call ahead to see if there's seats available.

Absolutely flavorful food. Only 1 vegan option in Main course but it so amazing. The coconut rice is to die for. Loved the place and it’s music.

Honestly I loved it. Homey honestly smaller than expected but love the environment. Definitely go.

My partner and I entered the restaurant just a few minutes after the kitchen closed but they still took our order. All the staff members were very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. We order a canelazo which had an authentic flavor. I have to admit it is somewhat pricey but it’s worth the money. You get what you pay for.

Decent food - I got the Tonga, which was the chicken yellow rice wrapped in banana leaf with peanut sauce. The banana leaf really enhanced the flavor of the dish, and overall, I enjoyed my food. Because it's a small restaurant, the service was a bit slow and if you go on a Friday night - which we did, it could get very loud as they out the tables very close to each other.

A nice place to enjoy some Ecuadorean food and vibe. Can’t say if the taste is authentic or not but we ordered soup and pork entree. The soup was a little bland but the pork was delicious with many different flavours: sweet, sour, savoury. The hot chili sauce was so yummy! You gotta ask for some!! Price was mid-range.

An amazing place! We always wanted to find an authentic Ecuadorian restaurant in Manhattan and Ñaño did not disappoint. Every dish was delicious. The drinks were excellent and the service top notch. The owner is so warm and friendly and treats you like family. The restaurant is small but super cozy. We had a wonderful time here and can't wait to return.
