I've heard great things about Dr. Blue, but after seeing her twice, I can't understand what all the hype is about. My interactions with her have been the worst ones I've ever had with a doctor in my life. I've never been treated more disrespectfully. My husband recently developed myoclonus (involuntary muscle jerks). She took one look at him, ran no tests and said there was nothing really wrong with him except that he needed to be committed to a psych hospital. After that, our general practitioner suggested lyme and ran the blood test. It came back positive. We tried to show the lab result to Dr. Blue at our follow-up, but she didn't even let me finish the sentence. She said "I'm not going to tell you anything different than last time." (Ok, then why did you make us do a follow-up and take our $$??) and "I'm not going to do what you want me to do, you can find a doctor who will if you don't like it." :O We wanted her to do a spinal tap like our general practitioner suggested she should. He and our ENT suggested we find a different neuro and referred us. Too bad we wasted the money on her. We did make a psych appt just in case, but he tested positive for lyme and she didn't care!

Initially, I had a very good experience with Dr. Blue however at a follow-up visit I too was told it was all in my head and was referred to a neurophycologist. I went and after two days of testing was told I was not only mentally healthy but very much so. He suggested I see another neurologist which I did . I received diagnosis and treatment and am doing well in his care. No one is perfect but to tell someone that comes to you for help that it's all in there head instead of I don't know, seems irresponsible.

Family Dr. referred my husband. Very unpleasant visit. We were he told he didn't have the condition our thinks he may have, but didn't offer any information or advice on what he might have! We left more confused then when we arrived. Go elsewhere. She made us feel like my husbands symptoms are imagined.

Bad bedside manner have been seeing her for over five years and really no change just says (well I don't know ) on most visits have done as she has always asked ( MRI ) ( eeg ) ( bloodwork ) and was told on last visit needed to go to a psychiatrist I don't know why the sudden change I had asked her what I could take to help sleep because I was having neck surgery and she said it was ( all in my head ) She is 72 yrs old and from what I can tell trying to run patients off to make it easier to close her practice office was always great ( brandy ) but I would not refer anybody to her if she was the last doctor on earth so a heads up )) stay away and save your money!!!!!!

I was referred to Blue by my PC. Incompetent. No bedside manner, no compassion, waste of time and money. She acted like I was crazy. She ran no tests, no blood work. Within 3 months later, I had 11 MRI's. My L5 was cracked on both sides with a bulging disk. I had 6 additional bulging disks, 4 vertebraes out of alignment. 5 being in my neck. Neck inoperable. Both knees needed replacement, hip displashia in both hips, blown ACL in my left knee. Arthritis in most of my joints. Need both ankles joints needed replacement. An MRI even confirmed several mini strokes. Severe fibromyalgia. Severe vitamin D deficiency (19); and that was just a simple blood test that she had no desire to do. Etc, the list goes on. Within 7 months of my visit with Ms. Blue the State of Texas approved my total disability, never denying me. All the MRI evidence spoke for itself. Thank God, Fort Worth has more than one neurologist. Trust me.... run, run, run as fast as you can!

Very disappointed!!!! My insurance company was changing their policy on the Parkinson's medication. The pharmacist from Aetna called to say they were concerned that I had been on that medication for 10 years and what changing it at this point would do to me. The pharmacist said that if the doctor would write a letter he could get the exception for the medication approved. Dr. Blue refused to write the letter and said if she had to do it she would charge me $50. I said fine I'll pay it, I just need the medicine. She did not write the letter and when I got home she had her assistant call and say that I must be double dipping and seeing another doctor behind her back because she had never given me the generic. I said, would you please remind her I recently moved here from San Antonio and it was that doctor who discovered the generic medicine did not work for me. Secondly, as if my insurance is going to pay for two prescriptions of Mirapex????? Extremely disappointed in the attitude and lack of care I received which has caused me to suffer from Parkinson's needlessly.
