To save everyone a phone call, they do not accept insurance. Its alright though, I shall take my money elsewhere.

I can’t say enough how much I loved Dr kanner. I left feeling so relaxed and relieved that things were going to be okay. He is very calm and makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable, had a great experience and would highly recommend him !

I was a patient of Dr. Kanner's at a time in my life when I was suffering with debilitating anxiety coupled with some other complicated medical issues. I was at the point that I laid in bed for days and was too anxious to even leave my house. I had gone to numerous other doctors (non-psychiatric) who made me feel "crazy"and told me that I just needed to "snap out of it." When I finally went to Dr. Kanner, I was nervous, especially visiting a male psychiatrist (I have previously seen only female psychiatrists) but Dr. Kanner instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. Though his office does not accept insurance, this practice made him much more attentive than previous insurance-covered psychiatrists that I have had in the past. He never glanced at the time, and our sessions ended when they ended. I never felt rushed, and he even took the time to research my medical issues to make sure that they did not conflict with his treatment strategies for me after my session was over and on his own time. Most importantly though, Dr. Kanner made me feel heard. Since becoming a patient of his in the last year, I have gone back to the same vibrant person I once was, and I now live looking forward to my future rather than fearing the unknown. I recommend him highly to anyone seeking excellent mental healthcare in the Phoenix area.

Dr. Kathryn Kanner has been my provider for more than 5 years. I was seeing her at her previous facility and followed her to the new practice. I cannot convey how much she has helped me. She truly listens and asks questions to understand my concerns. She does not rush me or make me feel like I am just a number, which so often happens when visiting doctors. She has gone above and beyond to make sure I understand my condition and that I receive the tools I need to improve and maintain my mental well-being. She and her front desk staff are professional, courteous, and consistent. She has exceeded my expectations and is truly exceptional at what she does.
