Harrell read an article in Colliers Magazine about Boston businessman and philanthropist Edward Filene and his establishment of a new kind of cooperative financial institution: the credit union. Mr. Harrell believed a credit union's emphasis on people helping people could help improve the financial well-being of postal employees in Georgia.

APCU has apparently become too big to call & communicate. After 30 years, I will no longer do business
Will not stand by promises made to disabled American vet under medical hardship. Won't speak to him or his family. Just sent notice of foreclosure after saying they would "take care of him and his family, not to worry". Him and his disabled son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren are about to be put out into the street. It all started when severe black mold was discovered in the house. They dragged their claim on for a year, waiting for them all to get sick and accumulate medical bills. Shame on APCU!
This bank withdrew funds from a minors savings account. Even as a non-member I called and was told a manager would return my call. Still waiting on that call. If you want to loose $500+ of your children’s money then open an account here.
Amanda M. in the loan department is superb! Other staff pleasant, but she helped me through a rough experience with a car dealership. From beginning to end I really appreciated her patience, honesty, kindness and professionalism. Thanks to her I saved almost 200 a month by not going through with a bad deal on a new vehicle. Hopefully her employer recognizes how awesome she is!
It's like home, so many good memories at this bank. Cool people here. Still a member.
So I open my account 2 months ago a week ago just received my debit card only to find I can't use it because I have to wait on my PIN number to come which is stupid I should be able to choose my own pin number since you haven't sent me my PIN number in the two months that I opened the account so I have no access to my money and by the time I get off work you're closed I'm starting to hate this bank already.
Charged NSF fee twice when there was clearly enough in the account to cover before I noticed it. I called and said why does this keep charging NSF fees? Oh you tried to transfer more money than you had... 😂 ok sure I did Refuse to waive fees, I'm disabled on a fixed income and they didn't care. Taking my business elsewhere
I've been a member with Atlanta postal credit Union for a couple of years and I have no problems at all everyone is very friendly and when it comes to taking care of business they get things done
No appreciation for long term members. The spirit of "for the members" is gone and theyve become like any other bank. Seriously considering taking my business and money elsewhere
I would give them a zero if I could, just incompetent individuals working there. The workers act like you are a waste, and the security breaches at this bank is ridiculous. I have changed my account number over 8 times because they allow so many fraudulent charges. People can be in another state, and this bank will allow the transaction to go through, but when its actually you trying to make a transaction, they have the nerve to send you a text asking if the transaction is fraudulent. I left the bank, and that was the best decision I 've made regarding my finances.
