Went to great southern to take out money but because of software upgrades they will only give me 200 but they can verify I have much more. What about planning these upgrades when they are not open.

Today the internet banking dept went above and beyond to help us out. We moved out of the area and were dragging our feet on finding a new bank. Internet banking has allowed us to keep Great Southern and now we will NOT be switching. The extra time they spent today can not be found anywhere else & is worth the extra effort to keep them. They always impress me with their service! Thanks so much GS Bank. You are amazing.

Always use direct deposit at this Bank, because it will take them up to a week on average to put it into your account. I've used the great southern bank on Battlefield road since I was 18 (4 years). This has been a problem since I've gone there. The longest they have ever held my check is a little less than two weeks. In my recient experience, the bank didnt call me back when I called to inquire about my money after not having any for 3 days. I live paycheck to paycheck now, so this bank on Battlefield should concider getting staff that doesnt hold your money hostage.

Worst bank ever. Paided my car payment on line and it said it didnt go through so I called them and then they took out 2 payments instead of one. So i called them back asking for a refund for one of them so i can have food for the week for my family and they WOULDN'T refund it back.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with in my life. They will yell at you, hang up on you, and tell you if you don't do things their way that are things they just make up for fun they will flag your account to where your payments must be made by driving hours to a branch or paying to send it certified. This makes it a million times harder to pay them than it already is because they refuse to accept debit cards and you can not link their bank as a lender to your personal banks bill pay. The only bank I have ever used as a lender to refuse money from me regularly. I have been sent home after driving to a branch with cash and a check that they refused
