They made my fiance say she hates her dress, blamed her body, then tried to hide their mistakes. She went dress shopping almost a year ago and thought she found a great, local business. After FOUR fittings, the seamstress told her she could not fix her dress because of her slender body type (unprofessional). No bride wants to hear that especially when the shop told her they could fit it to her shape. If they had been honest from the beginning and recommended something they could alter, she would have chosen another dress. She had to go to another local bridal shop (Grace Bridal Altier) to fix the mistakes with such short notice. After two fittings she is finally excited for her dress. She wrote an honest review on facebook. They literally called her and asked her to remove it. When she declined, they removed their reviews altogether. They clearly know what they did and now want to hide it.

Very disappointed with my experience. When I originally went in to pick my dress, the staff was wonderful and I found “the one.” I did not have a problem until my fittings. The seamstress did not seem to know how to fix my dress and, after my fourth fitting, said it was because of my body shape. She also had said that she had done nothing to my dress expect put in padding (which I later found out from the owner that was a lie. She actually cut off too much material causing the dress to fit too tightly on one area while the other areas were too big. I think she was trying to hide her mistake.) After being terrified that I bought a dress that wasn’t going to fit me for my big day, I decided to get a second opinion. I went to Grace Bridal Altier(another local shop) and they were AMAZING. After two fittings my dress was perfect. Wish I would of known about them before. I really wish I could say Atlanta Street Bridal was a great shop as they do have beautiful dresses but even the owner knew I was unhappy with my service and only reached out to me when my bridesmaid wrote a review on Facebook. Even then, she only called me because she wanted her to take the review down. I understand everyone makes mistakes but I felt they were trying to cover them up instead of fixing them. I’m only writing the review so other future brides will not have to go through the same seamstress disaster.

I could not imagine finding my dress at any other bridal store. I live in Atlanta and happily made the trip out to McDonough for ASBC. I had made appointments at three different stores and planned to visit them with my mom all in one day. Atlanta Street Bridal Co. was our first stop. We were treated so special from the moment we walked in. At ASBC you are the only appointment in the store so you receive their individual attention. Alex was so welcoming and listened and made me feel comfortable as I talked about my dream dress. I am a little curvy so as excited as I was to be shopping, I was afraid I would not find anything that made me feel beautiful. This should not be a concern for anyone who shops with Alex. My best advice would be to TRUST HER! The second dress I tried on was a fit and flair (I always assumed I would love an a-line) and it had me in tears the moment I saw it. I tried on a few other silhouettes just to be safe but within 30 minutes I bought the dress, along with my veil, belt, and headband, and cancelled all of my other appointments. Also, their prices are extremely reasonable. I got my dream dress and all my accessories for under budget. They were patient with us as we asked questions and Alex took care of everything as far as measurements and ordering went. My wedding was 4 months out and they were able to order it without a rush to arrive at the perfect time. Alex measured me perfectly and when the dress came in, we worked with their AMAZING seamstress to make it perfect. They were able to do some custom work on my dress (extend the sleeves to be full length and add buttons to go all the way down the train) and I had lost a considerable amount of weight so there were some spots that needed to be taken in. I cannot say enough how wonderful the seamstress is. She had the first round of alterations done in a week. I needed it taken in just a little more and she did it that night and I was able to pick it up the next day. I never once had to worry about any issues with my dress being ready for the wedding. By the time I left with my dress, I was sad to not be visiting them anymore but I made a wonderful friend in Alex out of it. She is the epitome of a professional business owner and gives her clients the experience every girl dreams of for her wedding. I wish I had a need for another wedding dress just so I could work with her again. ASBC made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone, always.

As the Mother of Bride, I was nervous that my daughter wouldn’t find the perfect dress. I can honestly say that Atlanta Street Bridal Company went above and beyond to make mine and my daughter’s experience truly magnificent. The staff made us feel special in every way and attentively listened as my daughter described her vision of the perfect bridal gown. After many beautiful gowns were tried on and modeled by my daughter, she had her moment and I had mine. She found her perfect wedding dress. There was no doubt. That was it!!! I can’t thank Atlanta Street Bridal Company enough for their guidance, patience, and unwavering determination to make our day phenomenal. The fittings thereafter were just as wonderful. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. This is hands down the best place to find your perfect wedding gown.

I could not have dreamed of a better experience finding my wedding dress! The shop itself is a beautiful renovated historic building filled with the most gorgeous gowns. Laurie is SO kind and friendly, and she knows what styles of gowns will look great on you, while taking into account your taste and preferences. You will feel welcome from the very moment you enter the shop! They have so many beautiful and unique gowns to offer, there truly is something for everyone. I left the shop feeling on cloud 9 after each visit: from finding my dream gown, to the fitting, and my final visit when my gown fit PERFECTLY, and I got to take it home with me. The ladies at this shop are the best in the business, and I would hands down recommend Atlanta Street Bridal Company to anyone and everyone!

I had a WONDERFUL experience at Atlanta Street Bridal Company. Laurie was so sweet, hospitable, and knowledgeable while helping me find my dream dress and veil. She made me feel so special throughout the entire appointment and really listened to what I wanted in my dress. They have a large selection of dresses to choose from, and Laurie was excellent at choosing dresses to try on based on what styles I said I liked. The boutique is so beautiful and welcoming, and my family and I felt right at home! I highly recommend this shop to any bride-to-be!!

I had an excellent experience. The shop is beautiful and wonderfully decorated. All of the staff was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. I felt there was a great selection of beautiful dresses at reasonable prices. I found my dress and could not be more excited and want to thank them for making a special moment of this process so wonderful!

Absolutely LOVE this Shop! I recommend it to all future brides! The staff is super sweet and attentive! I tried on several dresses several times since I couldn't decide and the staff was so helpful and understanding! I had ZERO issues with purchasing the dress, alterations, and final fittings.
