I guess nobody's rated this place unless they've had a bad experience. I LOVE this office. I've never had a problem scheduling or even calling in with a simple question. The office staff is always respectful and Dr Gersin is absolutely wonderful! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable, and even if the person you're speaking to doesn't have the answer, they will find out for you! I love my weight management office! ❤

I love this whole office, everyone is extremely friendly. Sometimes they struggle with opening on time especially when you have a 7am appointment and need to arrive at 6:45am but they do not unlock the doors until just about the time of your appointment. Then you still have to wait for them to get everything pulled up on the computers but that is the only complaint I have. Other wise they are great. Dr. Runak is fantastic, she is extremely friendly, treats you like a friend and not just another patient, answers all your questions and is extremely honest. Despite the reviews, I felt like Dr. Gersin was great, he answered all of my questions, was very friendly and personable, and I am very happy that I chose him to be my surgeon. I have never had an issue with scheduling, everything has been scheduled timely, even when I needed to change the date of my endoscopy I was called back within 30 minutes and rescheduled to just one week later as requested. I highly recommend this location.

I just called to get information regarding gastric bypass surgery. The person who answered the phone was so rude that I had to get her name (Tasha) and ask to speak to her supervisor. She refused to give me her last name. She was arrogant and rude. I'm afraid I don't want to deal with them if that's how they will treat me.

Carolinas Weight Management is outstanding!! I highly recommend visiting them for weight management help. Sure they do a lot of bariatric surgeries, but offer a lot of non-surgical options as well. I have had no issues with scheduling appointments or payments. There was a minor issue with submitting my surgery paperwork to my insurance carrier, but that was quickly resolved within a week by Heather, a great (and very busy) surgery navigator. Dr. Flood and Dr. Tomcho are excellent bariatricans to work with and have been very supportive through my weight loss journey. Dr. Gersin may not be the friendliest doctor you've ever met, but his expertise regarding bariatric procedures and skills as a surgeon are top notch. I had no issues or complications at all. I am so thankful he performed my surgery. Anna Mantey, the PA is also no-nonsense but is very professional. I also was very impressed by the nutritionists (Stephanie and Corinne) and the exercise specialist (Kathryn). And I cant forget Dr Gersin's nurse Sherrie....she is amazing! She keeps everything organized and is very good at her job. I have been very happy with my experiences at CWM and look forward to being a patient there for a long time to come.

Preferred to lose the money down than to have these folks be in charge of me. Front staff was unprofessional- called my number giggling and then hung up a couple of times (I thought it was just a prank caller) and the final time introduced themselves and called to schedule an appt. I was shocked. Surprised at scheduling my gallbladder removed “just in case”. Never had surgery and not letting them be the first ones to cut me open. No thanks!

I love Dr. Rusnek! She is extremely patient and takes as much time as needed to make sure I understand what I should be doing to make my weight loss journey a success. I have had no issues with the front desk-everyone has been professional and friendly. I have recommended several friends to this location and will continue to do so.

I love the office staff and doctors. The moment you make your appointment, and your first visit is very informative, and provided me with all steps needed so I wasn’t awaiting my time and money. Dr. Rusnaick is amazing followed by the surgeon Dr. Gersin and his whole team were always providing information and answering all my questions and concerns. The nutritionist were super helpful as well whether in person, on call or via email. Just an overall great office.
