Caribbean Sunrise Bakery & Restaurant is also a first-generation family-owned business. We opened in 1996 and have grown to become a favorite spot for residents throughout the city of Jacksonville. Many of our customers travel from St. Augustine, Jacksonville Beach, Orange Park, Yulee, Mandarin, and even Georgia to get a helping of our delicious meals.

The food here is nice. I would recommend!
I love the flavor but they are stealing from customers who use uberEats and doordash. They don't offer jumbo size which they do offer. They charge you jumbo prices for regular sized items. The manager wasn't in to explain why however its not right for them to overcharge on items. Share this review

The food is so good! I was pleasantly surprised because of how polite everyone was lol usually the ruder the the works are the better the food but everyone was so nice and welcoming I loved it! They even offered me to try samples since this was my first time visiting! Unheard of I know lol This is definitely the place to go. The portions are great and the tastes are the closest I’ve found to back home in Jamaica. If I could I’d give them a million stars I would. This is the place to go if you want true Jamaican food. I’ll definitely be back!
My sister took me here for food and let me tell you, these are the type of places that are overlooked. I ordered the wings two ways, baked mac n cheese and a beef patty. The wings were so good they had me licking my fingers for more. The baked mac n cheese I swallowed and beef patty I dreamed about all night. I need this place in every state!! Amazing customer service. I had heard this place was delicious from a coworker and was excited to give it a try. I had no clue what to get but they let me try a few of the most popular items. OMG the oxtail was amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone!!!
My Absolute Favorite place to stop while in Jax!!! Best Jamaican restaurant that I've tasted....My favorite Is the Ox tails!
The jerk chicken was fantastic. I recommend the spicy beef patties, as well.
Food was great and dining area was clean. Recommend the Oxtail and rice.. I will eat there again..
The food was pretty good... I was a little skeptical since some reviews question the freshness of the food and consistency of flavor.. I went on a Tuesday and my food tasted fresh. The spice level was just enough to give you a little heat all while still being able enjoy the flavors of your meal... We ordered a curry goat as well as a jerk chicken plate.. The curry goat actually had a decent amount of meat.. I’ve been to places where the curry goat is more bone than meat.. The establishment was clean, food is reasonably priced, and the lady at the counter was very nice... I would eat here again..
Beef patty was barely warm and had no flavor. The girl at the register had a HORRIBLE attitude. I won't be going back.
