It's clean. It has inside and outside seating. Parking is challenging of course. I went for lunch. Service was good. The food is in warming trays, but it didn't look dried out. I wanted fried fish and it was cooked to order. It was perfectly fried. It was really good. I got the cabbage too, but it wasn't that good. Everything is priced per item so keep that in mind when ordering. I'll go again. I want to try some other items.

Hispanic owned soul food place. LA has lost some of it's great soul food spots, and I was told this was a new one I had to try. I was told everything was great except for the mac & cheese. Everything is a la carte and there are many many options. I decided to try as many as I could. The smothered pork chops were solidly good. The baked chicken was bland. They also had teriyaki bone in chicken, an odd combination, but it was very good. For sides I tried greens and beans. The greens were missing something, flavor wise, although I couldnt put my finger on what. The beans were excellent. You will find much better soul food places in other parts of the country, but this isnt bad for LA. I'll still probably go to Roscoe's first, out of nostalgia if nothing else.

It's okay. I only went here because Marilyn's was closed that day! Not much to add... It was good, not great. Kind of pricey, considering it wasn't fantastic like Marilyn's or M&M's. But it was acceptable soul food.

1st time visitor, The dressing had no seasoning, no corn meal, no celery, no onions, no bell peppers etc., they need to call it slop dressing. We know how Soul food is supposed to taste, you can't fool us. Go to the food network website and choose some down home Southern recipes, especially for the cabbage, Turkey wings and yams

Gross. No lie the macaroni and cheese had no texture, they over cooked the noodles so much it was the texture of baby food with no flavor. The baked chicken was hard and dry from sitting under heat lamps for too long. Food is over priced i got 3 items with an extra baked chicken breast for $20! And to top it off the girls working there had horrible customer service, they make you feel like it's an inconvenience to them to serve you. The owner needs to take a serious look at how his employees are handling customers and food. Because they're worse than Dulans!

My experience wasn't a good one. I really enjoy down home cooking, when I'm not going out to Moms house. I went to Delicious,& order a short rib or spare rib plate w/mac n cheese, yams..!!👎 Meat was dry & the yams were too hard. Soul food needs to be made with ONE very key ingredient..LOVE!!
