After years of suffering from somewhat vague symptoms like depression, anxiety, and fatigue, my mom was finally diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism. As soon as she was diagnosed by her local doctor, I quickly started to google to learn more about parathyroid disease so we could make sure we found her the best parathyroid surgeon. Hyperparathyroidism is a pretty uncommon disease, and therefore there really aren't that many surgeons out there that specialize in this surgery. After calling the few surgeons I did find on google, I made an appointment for my mom with Dr Larian. Dr Larian's office was incredible when I first called to ask some basic questions - they truly made me feel like they already cared about my mother and would do anything to cure her. I couldn't believe how friendly and knowledgable they were on the phone, that is rare for doctors these days. Anyway, we flew to Los Angeles for the consultation with Dr Larian and he exceeded every expectation we had. He is so knowledgable and truly put both my mother and me at ease. She had surgery about a month ago now and upon waking up from the quick surgery she already felt better. She is so much happier and healthier now than she has been in years. Dr Larian is without a doubt the best parathyroid surgeon out there. You never want to wish surgery upon anyone, but if you or someone you know needs parathyroid surgery, Dr Larian is the only surgeon you should trust!!!!!

Dr. Larian is an excellent physician. He really takes the time to listen to your concerns and always provides thoughtful feedback. Dr. Larian is kind, empathetic, and has an excellent bedside manner and truly makes you feel as though you are of utmost importance during your visit with him. His staff are very professional and helpful, as well.

Dr. Larian is one of a kind not only in his field of expertise but as well as his knowledge in other areas. He's not a doctor that jumps into "surgery" or unnecessary procedures, but rather gives appropriate and alternative solutions first. He's patient and takes his time in explaining everything to his clients so there are no areas of unknown. His staff are also very professional and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Larian!

I have never in my life met such a kind, intelligent and amazing doctor as Dr. Larian. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to answer their questions. He is not concerned with whether he does my surgery or someone else does, he cares that I am ok with what is happening. You do not find that very often. His entire staff is amazing Adriana and Shelly listen to what you have to say and treat you with kindness always. I cannot say enough about my experience with Dr. Larian and his staff and recommend him without reservation.
