Dr. Budoff is phenomenal. Very straight forward, he will tell you exactly how is is, no sugar coating. He is extremely honest and caring- wants the best for his patients. The surgery process was no problem- first surgery for myself and it was a breeze. Wonderful work, no more pain for me. He is a miracle worker!
Dr. Budoff is very thorough yet efficient! As a new mother I need my appointments to go as quickly as possible, and he was able to diagnose my 'mommy thumb' quickly and give a steroid shot that worked wonders to heal my hand. Would highly recommend him to anyone with hand pain!
Came to Dr. Budoff for severe pain and swelling in a finger joint that was becoming debilitating, affecting my ability to sleep and perform tasks. He quickly ordered x-rays which were performed on site and injected the affected joint with steroid. Staff is well trained and efficient and I was in and out quickly. Very soon after that I had a dramatic reduction in pain and swelling and now I cannot even tell that I ever had a problem! Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. Budoff!
I highly recommend Dr. Budoff. After seeing another hand surgeon who recommended surgery on my hand for a fish fin stab in my hand (which left me with debilitating pain), I went to Dr. Budoff for a second opinion prior to getting the surgery done. Dr. Budoff took a very conservative approach and wanted to have an infectious disease doctor take a look to ensure it was not infected. After ruling this out, he suggested a steroid shot which has significantly improved my condition and I am almost back to normal. I feel grateful for having gone to Dr. Budoff who takes a conservative approach to things and tries to avoid surgery when possible, something that is counter intuitive for someone in the business of doing surgery. Thank you Dr. Budoff for saving me the troubles of a surgery and for taking a methodical approach to addressing my issue.
UPDATE: Five months following the steroid shot the pain returned in my wrist. I went back to see Dr. Budoff and he said I needed surgery to correct the problem. He gave me the pre-op instructions and told me to get on his surgical calendar. After a month of trying to get someone to call me to set up the surgery, I gave up and found a doctor over at Methodist. Dr. Budoff is great and I'm sure he is a good surgeon if you can get the date set up. His front office staff is overwhelmed and I heard several times about how busy they were. It's unfortunate. I had severe tendonitis in my wrist. After seeing another orthopedic surgeon and allowing him to do surgery, it all came back and worse. I decided that I would go see Dr. Budoff since he came so highly recommended. He was perturbed by the location of my scar and said it didn’t look right. My last doc did not do the steroid shot first before surgery. Dr. Budoff gave me a shot in my wrist and I have been pain free ever since!! My wrist feels like it is totally back to normal again – I can’t believe it. I know there is the possibility that the pain will return at some point but I’m thrilled to have some relief and such a simple solution. Dr. Budoff is straight to the point, honest, conservative and confident. I would highly recommend him.
Very professional with high level of competence
I take a hand to shoulder therapy from Dr Budoff. I lost the use of my right hand as I fell from a height of 30 feet from the ceiling of the church while inspecting the fire sprinklers system and crushed my right wrist. I was told by some of the leading hand surgical experts that my wrist will have to be fused. Luckily I found Dr Budoff and he saved my wrist and my hand by resurrecting it in a way that I can use it for anything.
Highly recommend Dr. Budoff... Professional, and has offices throughout the Houston area for the convenience of his patients. Helped me recover after minor snowboarding hand and elbow injuries... 👍🏻❄️🏂
Dr. Budoff has performed several surgeries on both my hands over the sat seven years. Every time the results have been excellent. He is an outstanding doctor and I know I am in good hands.
I had a great experience with Dr Budoff who loves and clearly communicates what he does. I was having issues with my hand and at first; he tried some conservative approaches before doing surgery on it. The surgical staff was very professional and my recovery happened really well and quick. The staff was very nice and made the whole process really easy. I recommend to all!
I have been to several doctors that told me my tumor was a callus... Dr Budoff properly diagnosed me and caught the aggressive tumor. He removed it through surgery and everything went well. I would highly recommend Dr Budoff because of his intelligence, knowledge and skills in his field.

Dr. Jeffrey Budoff is the best. He genuinely cared about me as a patient and his skill and confidence as a Hand Specialist is unmatched. I'm a high level pianist with Dupuytren's and Dr. Budoff performed a less invasive technique that cured my problem. It is worthy of note to say that at least 15 other hand specialist I've seen cared nothing at all about me, my disease, or my career as a pianist. Dr. Budoff is the exception. He definitely knows what he's doing and I very highly recommend him to any musician who has hand problems. He is more than worth flying across the country to see. Thank you Dr. Budoff.
