Today was my 2-year follow up visit for my Anterior Total Hip Replacement with Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists. Dr. Alec Denes performed my surgery. I rate my entire experience as an A++. I was a good candidate for the anterior procedure which enabled a easier recovery. My post surgery physical therapy was short-termed as I progressed rapidly. Within 4-6 weeks I had resumed my normal activity and have been going strong ever since. I have no physical limitations and am totally pain-free! My entire experience with Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists could not have been better. I highly recommend this orthopedic practice and especially Dr. Denes.

This place is busy but very efficient. They have always seen me at or very close to my appointment time. From front desk to lab techs to nurses, all have been consistently friendly. I am very happy with my doctor, Dr. DeHann. He is personable, knowledgeable and open to answer any questions I have.

Greeted warmly at checkin. Shown to the procedure room and had the cortisone injection administered with relative ease. All that attended to me were friendly and put me at ease (as I was *very* against having cortisone in my body- but my pain and increasing immobility made me change my perspective). I was given instructions for aftercare and on my way home soon after I arrived. I'm impressed. Thanks.

I went in for a follow up injection. No exam necessary. It would only take one minute. I was told they were a “little behind”. I waited in an exam room for 1 hour w/o any staff contact. I then looked in hall but saw no one and left. I had a funeral to go to and was moving. I feel that they had no consideration for my time.

From the telephone conversation where I was told I had an accent (when I was politely repeating my name in NATO phonetic alphabet) to the meeting with the doctor in which I got to know my choice of non-invasive treatment is an artifact of my country of origin (where "people get by without surgery"), this was the most disappointing experience among all orthopedists I have seen. Getting a second opinion. EDIT(7/10): While I have been able to fix most of my issues by reducing my weight, I will give them another chance. They have approached me to see my side of the story. They also waived the fee associated with my first visit, which I believe to be fair. I hope they have better doctors than the one I visited earlier.

I have interacted with many medical professionals and support staff at this location for various needs for replacement surgeries, treatments and physical therapy over a period of 5 years. I hope I don’t ever have to go somewhere else! I give everyone 5 stars! They are the best.

I saw Ashley Wood PA-C for my knee. I came into the office feeling very nervous because I had hurt my knee and it was painful. This was the first time that I have ever hurt myself. I left my appointment feeling confident that I was going to be okay. Ashley and her PA-C student Stella were friendly, professional, easy to talk too and truly cared about me. They took the time to listen to what I was saying. I had a great experience from the moment I walked off the elevator. I was greeted by Karen and Inez with a kind smile and promptly checked me in. From there I met with Jaime from x-ray who was awesome. Her knowledge and expertise made getting my x-rays a breeze.

This is a good place to go if you don't have health insurance. Their overhead is less so surgery fees are much less. I have had two experiences in the past 6 months. The care is good just don't expect the same kid of treatment you would get from another business where you are spending thousands of dollars. The visit are wham bam and out the door. Personally, I prefer a little coddling when I'm about to make one of the biggest purchases of my life.

Only 4 stars because I had to spend way too long in the waiting room. The five stars would go to Dr. Okereke for soothing bedside manner, professionalism and thoroughness. She used measured gestures and warned about upcoming discomfort. Did not rush procedure. She inquired gently about my job and interests and shared some of hers. Very positive visit. Thanks!
