Dr. Shek is an outstanding dentist! He is calm and precise. He took his time with me and explained what he was doing and why. My crown is perfect. Also and very important to me is the dental assistant. Wendy, was also outstanding. She knows what she is doing and is careful with the tools while they are in your mouth!

I was visiting San Francisco for business last year. One tooth crown ruptured and I suffered the most severe pain for the whole night. It was so hard to find a dentist who would take me. I call Dr. Shek's office and the staff told me to come in within an hour. They were not only kind but were efficient. When I got there, they already took care of my insurance paper. I was treated by Dr. Tran, with her skillful and gentle professional work, she took care of the problem right away, and I could continue on my itinerary.
I have been seeing the wonderful Dr Shek for almost 2 years and could not be more pleased. I am a "baby boomer" who was in dire need of specialized dentistry. He came thru in flying colors, with a gentle and thorough approach, explaining in precise detail what was going on and what needed to be done. The process is finished and I am very very happy with the results. I must also add how efficient and friendly the staff is. Melissa is so competent and accommodating and Dr Shek's chairside assistant Wendy is adorable.
Melissa and front office staff are super-friendly and efficient. New office is beautiful. Dr. Tran and Dr. Shek are the best dentists I’ve been to; they are extremely competent, professional, courteous, caring and kind. 100% recommendation without reservation.
Dr. Trang was excellent with helpful suggestions to improve your dentist hygiene. A nice touch when she worked on your mouth always asking for your comfort level.
Beautiful atmosphere, never a long wait, and the nicest people ever, including the receptionists and dental assistants. My dentist is thorough in her explanations and is sensitive to pain issues. Friendly and courteous! I’ve been going there for years!
I have been with this practice for many years and have only good things to say about Dr Shek and his team.The atmosphere in the office is calm and soothing and everyone there is so nice.Melissa is very efficient at dealing with insurance issues and is good about sending email reminders when I am due to schedule an appointment. Dr. Justin Shek is a very resourceful, sympathetic, creative, efficient and careful dentist. He can create some dental fillins like plastic partials personally in his office if need arises. Not surprisingly he is superbly qualified to be professor at the Dental department of University of California, San Francisco.
