I absolutely love this church but I may be biased because the Shepherd of the flock and his lovely bride are my family. I am a member of a large church and it gets pretty big but to come to a small congregation and of a different denomination is a huge change but we ALL serve and praise the same GOD! To Pastor William Flippin, Jr. and Lady Kedra. I love you

Theologically strong, liturgically diverse, hospitable, inclusive-- these are the words to begin with when describing Emmanuel Lutheran Church. With five generations worshipping as one in communion with God and the saints, each week is a respite and revelation. Leadership includes Rev. Dr. William Flippin Jr., a gifted speaker and theologian, and a number of wise and prophetic voices to lead prayer, reading, liturgical dance, hymnody, and responses and creeds. There truly is something for everyone here, not as in a buffet of differing worship settings (although there is plenty to enjoy among differing traditions in each service), but rather in a united palimpsest of orthodoxy in a changing world. One need look no further than Emmanuel for the strength of tradition and the refreshing context of the beloved community.
