On Monday, May 8, 2017 I received a call from the school director, Barbara Collins, telling me that my child's preschool teacher Felicia Lambert had been suspended pending investigation of allegations of child abuse, and that my child was a victim. Ms. Collins said an investigator with Bright from the Start had come in the previous Thursday to interview my child and two others who were named in the allegation of abuse. Ms. Collins did not mention this to me that Friday mornin...

I LOVE this school, the teachers, the administrative staff and the great parents that have chosen to send their precious ones to Open Arms. Success is measured by the smiling faces and the depth of learning that occurs each and every day. I thank you all for this blessing and the peace of mind I have with Open Arms.

Open Arms is a wonderful, faith-based school in Buckhead. My son started when he was 16 weeks old in Mrs. Marcy's infant classroom, and I could not have found a better person to care for him. Everyone in the school knows his name and he is happy to arrive each morning. The meal plan is great (he eats 2-3 servings at lunch!) and there are many activities offered such as Playball, soccer, dance, etc. In the summer, they have water play and snow cones on Fridays which he loves. He is three now and knows the alphabet, can count to 20, can name all of his colors and shapes.

Having 2 children at Open Arms as a family we could not be happier. Wonderful teachers, staff, enviornment, and the church involvement is really important to me and my 2 children. I am on the parent board and feel involved in all aspects of my children's education, social skills, and spiritual growth. My 3 year old does ballet on Mondays, music class on Tuesdays, and chapel on Wednesdays!

After reviewing almost every Buckhead daycare and talking to people in the industry. Open Arms is a great choice for families and has been a great environment for my child. JW loves his teachers and is more socialized and advanced than most of his peers outside of Open Arms. I would rank it in the top 3 and for the value #1. As with any school, there is no perfect place and some children will be a great fit and others might find another environments more ideal. Hope this helps families since this is such a hard decision.

Open Arms is a gem in Buckhead! Two of my three children have now attended and loved Open Arms, and we are so thankful to have such a wonderful Christian childcare option! The staff and teachers are very attentive, the facility itself is conducive to learning, and it's truly more than just a daycare -- my children have both learned so much at Open Arms! I highly recommend it both for the price and for the quality of care.
