The idea for the Franklin Music Academy came about from the experience I had in the year 2010 teaching my fifth grade elementary music class. That Spring we were preparing for a big concert featuring music from the Beatles. One student had taken guitar lessons and was able to play a few basic chords so I assigned him to play along with the choir during rehearsals.

Shani is an amazing organizer and keeps Franklin Music Academy running smoothly. I really loved this year's concert in the park in April. Clearly the music instruction is superb! I look forward to future musical events.
Both my girls attend Franklin Music Academy. One started drums at age 9 and the other piano at age 17. JP has the ability to teach each student based on their individual needs. My girls are both learning and enjoy their interaction with their instructor. I highly recommend for anyone that takes pride in their child's education.
JP and Shani came to Whole Foods Domain and had 3 amazing sisters perform! They put on an entertaining show! The girls are very talented! WFM Domain would love to have Franklin Music Academy back anytime!
My son has been going to Franklin Music Academy for under a year and I see progress with each lesson. JP provides a balanced environment that allows the kids to have fun while learning. He is professional, patient and encouraging, which helps build my son’s confidence. We went to our first concert a week ago and I was so proud to see my son bravely play in front of an audience. Not only does JP have crazy musical talent, he also has a true gift for leading the students and new instructors. I can’t imagine experiencing the level of trust and comfort that I have with the instructors anywhere else. Shoni is also friendly and genuine and they both take the time to listen to questions or concerns. We love Franklin Music Academy.
