Company Description

The dream began in 1956 when the first of many Masses for the Tucker community was celebrated at Cary Reynolds School. The mission was 200 families at its inception. In 1964, the Mission was granted status as a Parish of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, to be known as The Church of The Holy Cross.

Father Jude and Father Gary have done in a tremendous job in their short time at Holy Cross to bring some new LIFE into the community. Our family LOVES the 9am mass. The Kids Church is great and the choir at that mass is amazing!

I loved very much getting the opportunity to visit the grounds and meet Father Gary.... I hope to locate an apartment in the area of the church as I determine if I will move from North Carolina to Georgia.

Fr. Jude Michael Krill, OFM., the pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church, humiliated many of his parishioners today at Mass in a way that was extremely disrespectful and uncalled for. No, I am not talking about a challenging homily that may be perceived as disrespectful. The homily was challenging, but it was also insightful and well delivered. I am talking about how Fr. Jude Michael Krill announced a "commercial break" after the Eucharistic prayer had concluded...AFTER Christ had already been consecrated on the altar. During this 5 minute "commercial break", an unnecessarily long explanation was given regarding the fact that it is flu season and a decision was made to not distribute the Precious Blood due to the fears expressed by some parishioners. This announcement should have been made before Mass. Furthermore, an attempt was made to "re-catechize" the parishioners on the proper way to receive communion, during which time Fr. Jude Michael Krill bitterly chastised, humiliated, and cracked jokes about those parishioners who choose to receive communion on their knees and on their tongue. If the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM) and Redemptionis Sacramentum are to be throw the faces of the parishioners, it should be considered that PAUSING MASS to humiliate parishioners also goes against the GIRM. The more pastoral approach would be to discuss these thoughts directly with the individual, so as to not distract every other parishioner from the experience of divine worship. I kid you not, there was a parishioner crying because of the blatant disrespect.

This was my 1st time ever visiting a Catholic church, I had a dfferent expectation of Catholic worship but boy was I surprised and impressed to know that they worship The Most High God, Messiah and the Holy Spirit, as well as they read from The Holy Bible, Amen! I truly enjoyed the service. It was a different experience but I liked it!
