Finally a Dr. that cares and works to fix the problem. Not a pill pusher, just an honest, forthright physician, who knows what to do.

Dr Rice and staff are friendly, efficient, and most of all, extremely competent. My pain was under control before I left the office after the first visit. They know their stuff!

Drs Rice and Pacheco were supposed to help me get control of my back pain and get back to living life. Instead, Dr Rice shamed me for using medication prescribed by the physician who had referred me to him and his only recommendation for me was endless injections. I had an appointment with Dr Pacheco to go over my medications. I was told he could make suggestions which would streamline my medication regimen and help with my daily pain. Instead, his only advice for me was that I needed to try harder to “be happy.” I had to drive 3 hours to get to the appointments with Drs Rice and Pacheco. On one of my last visits there, I was sitting in the waiting area after having already checked in with one cold receptionist behind the glass when my cell phone vibrated. I answered and it was a different receptionist from the clinic calling to tell me I was late and they were going to have to reschedule my appointment. When I corrected her, she hung up without apologizing. I quit going to this steroid injection mill and sought other methods of treatment. Injections are not a safe treatment for back pain long term despite what Dr Rice may sell his patients.

I do not know if Angelina P caught Dr. Rice on a very bad day or ??? I was referred to him for lower back pain. After listening to my complaints he did offer at that time to do an injection or have an MRI done first. I explained that I am claustrophobic and his office set up an appointment with Upright MRI which is wonderful. You do not need to go into a "tube". You sit in a comfortable chair and it is aside from the sound very pleasant. I have an appointment scheduled for July and will post a follow up. Throughout the office visit Dr Rice and staff were very pleasant, courteous and professional.

The worst experience I've ever had with any sort of healthcare professional. Dr. Rice was RUDE. He forced me into treatment the same day after I told him I'd like to take time to consider it. I had a bad reaction to the drug he injected into my back, and told me it was all in my head. He then proceeded to tell my military doctor that I should be kicked out of the military. Dr. Rice needs to have his license revoked immediately.
