I met Dr. Cohn for a chalizion on my right eye lid. I am very happy with his approach to treatment and I highly recommend him to other patients.
Dr. Cohn is an outstanding Eye Physician. He is a knowledgeable, insightful, experienced doctor. I have been his patient for over 10 years and I wholeheartedly recommend visiting his office. He is not a "pill pusher." He only writes prescriptions for what is needed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent!
He wasn't the first eye surgeon I was sent to by my General Practice Dr. But the best choice I ever made by far. He is truly the best eye surgeon I have ever been to in Fremont CA. When Dr. Robert Singer (a wonderful eye physician) retired, Dr. James Cohn assumed the entire ophthalmology practice and expanded service with a team of optometrists - an idea new to me but I've found it to be very practical. This concept allows Doctor Cohn to help more patients after initial screening exams are performed. The office staff is welcoming, kind, thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of the practice. The optometrists are all excellently trained, thorough and very friendly. Doctor Cohn is a highly skilled ophthalmologist whose upbeat, kind and generous personality endears him to his patients. Doctor Cohn's ophthalmology practice is definitely #1 in the Fremont area.

After a series of 'fumbles' from our previous eye care provider, we are delighted to be under the care of Dr Cohn and his staff. Appointments are convenient, waiting times are short, and the staff are uniformly courteous and competent. Above all, Dr Cohn listens closely to our concerns and takes the time needed to get to the facts before prescribing. Then he doesn't forget to follow up. We're very satisfied.
