I had two of my (four) children’s wedding receptions at the Lido. The most recent 10/14/18 both receptions were beautiful! All our guests raved about the food especially the chateaubriand. Service is top notched. I’m hoping my niece gets engaged this year and my sister and brother-in-law pick the Lido for her special day too.
If you are interested in spending just about twenty grand on a reception, this is the place to go.
Staff was very friendly and well educated. The prices was also very reasonable. The food was really delicious. There was a ton of a food and it was all really good.....
The Lido was possibly one of the best quinceanera banquet halls in Chicago to host our party. Our daughter was ecstatic with the entire event and it was all made possible by the great planning skills of their team.

Our end of the year bowling league banquet was a huge success in no small part because of the crew at The Lido.
My friends threw me a baby shower here and it was wonderful. Their staff was so warm and made it such a special day as they took care of everything. As baby shower venues in Chicago go, The Lido was perfect.
We needed a party room rental in Chicago for my mother’s 80th birthday, and The Lido was so much more than that. When we met with them, we got all the details ironed out because they were so organized and thoughtful about everything. They made this surprise party go off without a hitch.
Thanks to the great people at The Lido, our wedding was beautiful and the entire night was run so smoothly. They really took our minds off the details and let us and our guests enjoy the party. The Lido is one of those rare great Chicago wedding venues that do it right.
The Lido’s sweet 16 rental halls were a great size and very versatile. We were able to decorate the room exactly how we liked and we got help from the staff when we needed it. They did a great job of turning the room over to party mode when dinner was over. They helped make it a night we will not forget.
When my mom turned 80, we wanted to give her a surprise that everyone in the family would remember. The party room rental was easy to book with a great location in Chicago and very friendly staff. They took extra special care of my mother and the party was a huge success.
